Planned Battle Rating Changes (April 2026)

It’s fine :D

US/French RB Ground BR’s:

- M4A3 (105): 3.0 up to 3.3. This thing is a low tier menace. Along with the StuH 42 G and SU-122. This isn’t just about balance, this change is also about new player retention. As a low tier enjoyer I can tell you squads love this tank.

I know, that’s why I said the AP belt should be removed. I’d rather have the AT capability reduced to get a lower tier SPAA to fill the gap.

German RB Ground BR’s:

- StuH 42 G: 3.0 up to 3.3. This thing is a low tier menace. Along with the M4A3 105 and SU-122. This isn’t just about balance, this change is also about new player retention. If new players are constantly getting wrecked by overpowered tanks they’re going to drop the game.

Why? There is literally nothing you can do with R-77 that you cannot do as well or better with R-27ER or R-73. R-77 is completely redundant.
Unless you count flying around with extra airbrakes strapped to your plane.
After a few days trying to grind the Su-27s and the Su-30 with the Mig-29SMT with the 77s went back to the (9-13) with just 2 R-27ERs and just used that, and I never want to see a dog slop R-77 again.

Anything to mess with every country apart from Russian ehh??

Not really FCS is just not programmed with shooting both at the same time in mind.

In FCS each barrel corresponds for a belt (IRL no one takes two APDS belts, majority of IFV’s ammo is anti personal) so one is kept for AP, meanwhile other is kept for HE.

Changed this 04/19 due to feedback

that’s really nice but there is no point if a new top BR for ARB is added and premium su30s dont go to 13.7

also pls fix the servers. I’ve been experiencing constant package loss on EVERY server region on air, to the point it’s unplayable and makes me rly demotivated to play the game. specially with Victory day sales coming

and yes I have cable connection and it’s only in this game that it lags and only in air

Suggestion:

Vehicle: Su-30MK2 / Su-30MKK
BR Change: 13.3 to 13.7 (Sim And Air RB)
Reason: Has R-77 ARH AAM (in sim it’s also the same BR as Su-27, an objectively worse aircraft) and MKK has PL-12, causing it to be massively OP in both ARB and Sim (mostly raining terror in sim, but ARB too) and having a massive number of AAMs.

R-77 is ARH so it’s fire and forget, you don’t need to keep a lock on radar for the R-77 to guide, if you’re in range of the R-77’s seeker. You can also guide it with TWS from data-link. So the R-77 can be better, depending on the situation.

That’s a good idea, but first we need to raise the battlerating to 15.3, maybe even 15.7. There are better fighters at 13.7, and I doubt Gaijin would allow most of the tech tree aircraft to outperform the premium planes in the $$$ bundle.

Quite simply, the premium SU on 13.7 without decompression would be pretty average, or even a bit weak (that potato radar and blind RWR with 30’ coverage…) compared to other 13.7s, especially the Venezuelan MK2.

In sim, if the BR range puts it at the top, it makes that BR range completely unplayable for anyone not in an Su-30MKK/MK2, due to it’s ARHs and large weapon loadout. AND the MiG-29SMT (objectively worse aircraft) IS THE SAME BR!

The April 2026 BR changes further exacerbate the “lineup gap” in the Italian tech tree. Balancing aircraft solely on Air RB metrics is destroying the synergy of Ground RB decks.

  1. Structural Gaps in Mid-Tier Lineups

The upward BR movement of the G.55 and Re.2005 has left the 5.0–6.0 ground decks without viable air options. These fighters are being balanced against super-props and early jets based on dogfight statistics, ignoring the fact that they no longer have a ground lineup to support.

  1. Tactical Misplacement of the MB-326B

The MB-326B is a poor performer in terms of flight characteristics. Moving it to 7.0+ based on its Zuni rockets is a mistake; it lacks a dedicated 7.0 lineup and the platform cannot survive the air-to-air environment of higher brackets.

  1. Critical Lack of Electronics: Sagittario 2 & Ariete

Positioning the Sagittario 2 and Ariete at 9.3 remains indefensible. These aircraft lack countermeasures (flares/chaff) and RWR. In the current meta, maneuverability is not a substitute for defensive systems against guided missiles. Similarly, the Italian F-86 and G.91 variants suffer from “Legacy BRs,” often sitting higher than equivalent or superior jets in other nations. In GRB the issue is even major.

  1. Ground Vehicle Distinction and Overtiering

There is a lack of nuance regarding the different Italian light platforms:

• C13 90 mm= it is 6.7 material not 7.xx

• C13 TUA: Despite the superior OTO Melara chassis, its BR is inflated. It should not be tiered alongside high-performance ATGM carriers or IFV.

M113 TOW: These vehicles are being pushed into brackets where their lack of mobility and protection makes them purely situational, yet they are treated as equivalent to much more capable IFVs.

• SIDAM 25 (8.3): Without a search radar and with extremely limited APDS ammo, it is objectively worse than the Gepard or specialized SPAAGs at the same BR.

• M26A1: All Pershings should be consolidated at 6.3. Without HEAT-FS, they cannot effectively engage the heavy armor found at 6.7.

  1. The “Decompression” Failure

Shifting BRs for the sake of Air RB “decompression” (specifically in the 5.0–6.3 range) has fundamentally broken the Italian Ground RB experience. We are left with “orphan” vehicles that have no matching lineup, forcing players into constant 1.0 BR uptiers just to bring a single competitive tank or plane.

Request: Re-evaluate Italian BRs based on Ground RB utility and ensure that for every aircraft moved, there is a viable ground lineup to accompany it.

The death of airRB is in the air

first BMPT is T-90 hull with either K5 or Relikt ERA. BMP-2M can be killed by low power AC’s. BMPT can withstand APFSDS to the sides and we’re not talking the 60 mm kind.

even if you pen, 5 crew compared to 3 gives it even more survivability.

external ammo allow it to blow without taking out the vehicle, pretty sure if you take out the ATGM’s on the BMP-2M it’s done.

Ammo box allows it to re-arm away from caps, while BMP-2M has to go there.

ATGM’s are indeed les powerful but still potent enough for side shots, which Spike can’t do.

this thing has ruined gameplay it can touch, the proposed changes just moves it away from 10.3, which most nations don’t have anyway, so it can still dump on 10.7, great news if wou need to stock grind your way up to top tier.
