Planned Battle Rating Changes (April 2026)

If they took off the .50 cal it wouldn’t be so OP.

P-47M-1-RE, P-47M-1-RE (Poland)

  • Air Realistic Battles: Keep at 5.7 as it is
  • Give P-47M-1-RE its 100/150 octane fuel, further improving the flight performance (Bug Report).

Reasoning: As it stands, the P-47M-1-RE Thunderbolt does not offer a meaningful difference in flight or engine performance compared to the P-47D-28 Thunderbolt at 5.0, since the P-47M-1-RE’s engine was nerfed. Although the P-47M-1-RE is lighter, it produces less horsepower and has a lower top speed at low altitude compared to the P-47D-28.

I believe the P-47M-1-RE could be improved in its current state of engine performance so that it better justifies its 5.7 BR placement.

It has been reported that the P-47M-1-RE historically operated with 100/150 octane fuel. In-game, however, the P-47D-28 already uses 100/150 octane, while the P-47M-1-RE is modeled with 100/130 octane and could potentially be upgraded to 100/150.

If equipped with 100/150 octane fuel, the P-47M-1-RE’s engine power and top speed would improve further, surpassing the P-47D-28 even when it also uses 100/150 octane. This would create a clearer performance distinction and help justify its 5.7 BR placement.

The related bug report was accepted but later closed as “Not a Bug,” citing that the performance change from 100/150 octane fuel could impact the aircraft’s battle rating.

ASB: F-15A/J 12.7→13.0

Both of these planes were already some of the best at their original BR, but now they effectively dominate with little to no effort due to being much superior to fighters of the same BR

RAH-66 Commanche- AGM-114K Missiles.

This helicopter counters a lot vehicles that has heavily armored on its current br (especially BMPT), due to sheer armor it has deal with it should get K Hellfires.

M4A3 (105)
us_m4a3_105_sherman
fr_m4a3_105_sherman

  • Arcade Battle BR: 3.0 → 3.3

  • Realistic Battle BR: 3.0 → 3.3

  • Reload Speed: 10.0 s → 9.0 s

  • Add T24E1 (APHEBC)

  • Correct the hull machine gun cover armor modeling

us_m4a3_105_sherman
Rationale:
The M4A3 (105) has been a controversial vehicle since it was added. The slow reload, poor shell velocity, and lack of power traverse limit its capabilities compared to other Shermans enough to justify a lower BR, but these attributes are more so just a pain for its player. For most vehicles facing it in its immediate BR range, it’s armor and decent mobility make it a hassle to deal with.

I think the solution to this is simply to give the M4A3 (105) a few buffs and move it up so that it retains its effectiveness while lower rank vehicles no longer have to face an undertiered late production Sherman.

  • Unlike the StuH 42 G, the M4A3 (105) uses single piece ammunition, so it could be given a faster reload of 9 s like the Ho-Ni II.

  • The current HEAT and HE ammunition are subject to very inconsistent damage. Adding T24E1 APHEBC round would give it something more predictable and reliable against moderately armored vehicles. It would have much better velocity compared to its current rounds (588 m/s) so it’s easier to aim for weak points. It would be able to defeat around 86 mm of armor at point blank range, meaning it can dispatch any vehicle at its BR from side-on or through frontal weak points, with more than enough filler to overpressure.

  • The modeling of the hull mg is a bit scuffed currently, as it is missing the outer sheath modeled on other Shermans, allowing most low rank guns to easily get through this point, even at decent range. Correcting the armor modeling wouldn’t really be too noticeable against most tanks of similar BR, but correcting it would be at least one more reason why it shouldn’t be facing 2.0 vehicles.

Please make the BMPT’s a higher BR than 11.7, they should be like 12.3

F-14A IRIAF needs to go up in BR in Arcade too. The A and B models the US has in the tree need to come down at least 1 stage, really 2 in that mode because the AIM-54’s are nearly useless, and the other missiles do not make up for it at their current BR’s. I seriously can’t remember the last time I saw an Arcade player spawn an actual US Tomcat, who hadn’t basically run out of planes and backups otherwise.

The F-104A and C also need to drop a stage at least in Arcade to 9.3, their practically food at 9.7 - especially when you got 2 MiG-21’s at 8.7 and 9.0 with missiles and now a similar rate of fire after that gun nerf to the 104’s that are apparently fine.

A lot of bombers need to drop BR’s for them to even have a chance to use their payloads or/and you seriously need to buff turret gunners, not to the levels around 10 years ago or so back when the Po-2 was undisputed god of the low tier because gunners sniped people from 1km out, but better than what we got now.

Also - why are so many Japanese fighters going up in BR? Do I take out a good number of people in them - sure, but that’s usually because they are dumb enough to actually try and turn fight me at low altitude and I’ve had since they were added to the game to learn how to fly them (plus knowledge from other older games). I’ve fought them with literally every other nations air branch in game and have no trouble with them as they are.

For things not mentioned or related to the spreadsheet changes - you need to drop the BR in arcade of the F-105 and the F-111A, or, you need to give the F-111A the right missiles, it should have at least 9E’s just like the 105D, which was being pulled out of service as it was finally officially entering and to which many 9E’s were rebuilt B’s. The F-86F-2 needs to drop in BR to like 8.3, those cannons are not worth what amounts to a 1.3 BR increase to the 86F-25. And across all trees with them, the F-16’s with IR only need to drop to like 11.7, maybe even the ones that have a couple SARH missiles to 11.7 as well, maybe 12.0, the ones with early ARH like 120A to 13.0, the ones with the next step up of them 13.3, and something like PoBIT should be 13.7 considering it’s limited to 6 when others are literally carrying double that just in ARH missiles and still also have some IR’s.

And that’s keeping it brief cause otherwise it’d be a mile long and I’d likely hit character limits with all the stuff you need to do across basically all trees.

Yeah, but the US one could keep the .50 and go up to a higher BR. Just an unstabilized 37mm isn’t game breaking. It’s the combination of .50 and 37mm that makes it oppressive at 1.0

British RB Ground BR’s:

- A1E1 Independent: 1.3 down to 1.0. Terrible armour for a heavy tank, worse than many nations light tanks even at 1.0. Terrible mobility. Massive target. 3-Pdr gun isn’t a redeeming factor either, it’s not the worst gun in the game (but it is far worse than the 2-Pdr on practically every other low tier British tank), but due to all the other factors combined it’s made much worse.

British RB Ground BR’s:

- SARC IVa: 1.3 down to 1.0. It’s fast, and that’s kinda it. If you compare it to the Daimler it shares a BR with, it loses in almost every respect. Worse armour, no shoulder stabiliser, gun is incredibly bouncy and kicks like a mule after firing, worse gun elevation and depression angles, and it’s open-topped.

Vehicle: Mirage 4000
Game Mode: Air Realistic Battles
BR Change Proposal: 13.0 → 12.7 (or even 12.3)

Reason:

The Mirage 4000 was a very competitive aircraft when it was introduced in 2023, but the game’s meta has changed drastically since then. Today, it finds itself in a heavily disadvantaged position at BR 13.0, as it sits at this BR solely because of its number of Fox 2 missiles, while other aircraft at the same BR — and even lower — now have access to Fox 3 missiles, modern PD radars, more advanced avionics, and significantly stronger BVR capabilities.

This issue is especially apparent when facing aircraft such as the premium Su-30 or any other Fox 3–equipped jets, as well as the F-15A, which outperforms the Mirage 4000 in virtually every aspect — yet the F-15A has been lowered to BR 12.7. The Mirage 4000 has no credible long-range engagement options, which has become essential in the current top-tier meta.

Additionally, aside from carrying more missiles, the Mirage 4000 offers no significant advantages over the Mirage 2000C in terms of radar, avionics, or flight performance. This makes it even harder to justify keeping it at such a high BR in an environment dominated by modern radar missiles and high-performance IRCCM weapons.

Aircraft:
JH-7A and JH-7A Prototype
Mode: Ground RB
Recommendation: do not change the BR
Explanation: If these BR changes are applied, then China will not have any aircraft for this rating despite having a lot of venicles at 11.7, and China also has no vehicles at 12.0 except for the CS/SA5, which is an SPAA.

saying the fm of the 29M is horrible when SMT exist is crazy

Doesnt resolve that the armor is what keeps it alive more than the crew

They have the same FM with different engines. 29M just has more thrust. FM≠Engine

*Lifts rock and looks underneath, BMPT is not at top BR yet, its armour is still fake, its ammunition is still fake/doesn’t explode

I guess there will still be an entire BR range unplayable including the “used to be very fun” 10.7

6 extremely mediocre missiles (4 if you want any reasonable number of chaff) on a dated airframe with a weak engine vs supermaneuverable AESA equipped aircraft with 12 missiles and extremely powerful radars

Idk man

It objectively isn’t in this current state
