Mig-15BIS (J-2) I’ve played the Chinese one and done decently well. When I die, I feel it’s because I made a mistake and could have played better to avoid it. The guns hit hard and seem to not have a lot of drag, making them actually easy to aim. Better than the .50s on the F-86 F-30, in fact, I enjoyed playing the Mig-15BIS more than the F-86 and consistently had higher kill matches in it.
This plane has solid strengths you can play with regardless of uptier/downtier. It is an energy fighter and does really well at extending vertically to get out of trouble, or stomping on your elevator and out rating/turning higher BR planes like F3Hs, Mig-21s, F-100s, EELs, etc.
This is in contrast to the Meteor Mk 8 Belgian I’ve been playing. This thing is not fast for its br, turns good at low speed but is a big target and easy to hit if you go slow, does not climb all that well, and has poor acceleration. The F-84G at 7.7 I find is more forgiving, is faster, has better acceleration, and climbs better + airspawn. Overall, if you play to this thing’s strengths you put yourself in a dangerous spot, and it’s reliant on your enemies actually humoring you to begin with. Not very good.
