Could we see this missile exclusive to the J10C with a brace increase to 14.7 in this patch? It would be a great test of the new missile mechanics and a buff to an already weak aircraft.
We would sooner see Meteor or base R37.
They are not needed at the moment. Aim120d, MICA and r77-1 good at 14.7

I would suggest you review the literature of pl15, and why it should not be added before contemporaries.

I expect some day gaijin decompression battle rating (Air AB, RB & SB) higher 14.7 (15.7 or 16.0) for 4th gen & 4+ gen fighter aircraft before introduce R-37M, Meteor, AIM-174B, PL-15, PL-17, AIM-260A, Astra Mk-2 and R-37M
PL-15 will be added at the same time as other next-gen Fox-3s most likely
I don’t see any problem with it being available ahead of the others plane’s.
And this will attract profits in the form of SU30MKK buyers who will exp China to try this missile.
It would be like giving 9X to USA before giving anyone else an equivalent at the same time.

What J-10C needs is PL-12s unfucked.
No need for PL-15, add PL-15 along side meteor, AIM-174B, R-37 etc. For now Fix PL-12

It’s literally an AIM120A with a worse autopilot.
You can literally dodge a rocket with a regular barrel roll.

The AIM-120 (A through D) was in the files ages before it was finally introduced.
As players who snoop datamines, we should expect next gen missiles to appear to being worked on nowadays and not immediately think “OMGITSCOMINGNEXTUPDATE”.
So, no, PL-15 is most likely not coming this or even next update and no China won’t get theirs first before everyone else does.
Honestly. This would be the worst addition for the J-10C. At 14.3 its fine. PL-12s need fixes, but otherwise, its a solid 14.3 aircraft. Adding PL-15s wouldnt move it to 14.7, it would move it to 15.0 and then would also require like for like added to other nations, such as Meteor to the Rafale & Typhoon to join it at 15.0. Its way better off staying as is. It then also doesnt create a gap in the tree.
Im sure PL-15s will be coming sooner rather than later. But I would guess onto a new airframe not an exisiting one
