Hi people. I wanna know, what charactierize the top tier missiles?
I personally found AAM-3 fitting my playstyle. It’s an better Aim-9M for me, as well as R-27ET which is really amazing.
I also really don’t like R-73 short range.
so in some Chinese planes, the choices are between infamous PL-5 and PL-8 python
I want something that can be fired at good range (about 5km sideways), with good speed
pl5e2 is better imo
It has a very low resistive force in the air and can travel a long distance after its engine runs out
Also, it accelerates very fast (basically magic 2 with improved range but a bit less overload at close range)
In comparison ,pl8b, with the model of python 3, has high air resistance. They perform like slightly nerfed r27et at high altitude with incredible range but struggle to hit when it is close to the ground.
As you only need to decide which of these 2 to bring when playing j10a, I’d say 5e2 fits it more
