Darter missiles suck so the ZA gripen is kinda mid.
the Darter is literally the best missile for the Gripens playstyle. The pull the Darters have make them the best missile for close range engagements which is what the Gripen excels at.
Watch any of the big air players play and most will say the ZA Gripen is the best, hell even MiGan says its the best
id honestly prefer a skyflash or aim 7P
Then grind a different TT, but dont just claim its the worst Gripen when its not lmao

Compared to the Aim 120A/B mounted on the other Gripens yeah they do. But sure lets take it out of context because reading is hard.
I mean i feel like it was pretty evident my point was missiles currently on the Gripens otherwise we couldve just mentioned Mica, but for now the missiles (fox 3) on the Gripens are the AIM 120A/B and the Darters(C but on the E model Gripen)
Again my point was the gripen does best as a mid alt close range fighter which the Darters are better for than the AIM 120 as the Darters fit the playstyle better.
Within 15km Darter is just the superior missile which just so happens to be the optimal engagement ranges for the Gripen and will allow for it to be a better missile over the Aim 120
The only people who cry that Darters are worse are people who genuinely have no idea how to fly the Gripen

my experiences with the darters are a little bit different, but its possible that i am just playing it wrong. From what i know the darters tent to get chaffed and miss easily, also at close distances (ca 5km).
