HY6 has never been useful, whether it can hit or not depends entirely on luck.
Looks like its doing the old Type 93 deal where it flies on the deck until it tries to pitch up and hit the aircraft.
AKA the missile’s flight path is designed to make it miss, should not be doing this.

It definitely shouldnt be missing non maneuvering targets thats for sure.
