As you know GFSB’s match maker doesn’t work in the same way that other game modes work.

There is no dynamic match making system and instead you have two fixed events/brackets every day, one for high tier and one for low tier; And each bracket has a fixed list of tanks and aircrafts that can be brought into battle (or a BR list for aircrafts for the low tier GFSB bracket).

Currently there are 6 different lineups for the lower tier event/bracket and 5 different lineups for the higher tier one. And both brackets cycle through their different lineups every 24 hours.

It’s also obvious that the top most bracket (consisting of top tier vehicles) is always very popular. Because these are vehicles that most closely resemble the most modern military vehicles that are in service or even combat today, and also represent the pinnacle of advancement and military technology in their respective class. So they are relatively more popular among the player base, compared to e.g. cold war era vehicles.

The issue however is that if you can only play the top most bracket (top vehicles) once every 5 days, that is if your schedule lines up to be free on that particular day (out of 5 days).

This means if you are a player who predominantly enjoys top tier GFSB, you can only play your favorite game mode and BR once every 5 days, if you are lucky. Which is obviously very limiting and problematic.
Especially if you consider that if you want to play say top tier / top BR GFRB or ARB you can play it on whenever day you like. And even in Air SB you can play the top tier / BR aircrafts on any day you like.

So I suggest that Gaijin make a separate always-available bracket/event just for top most GFSB lineup (11_2 right now, but obviously it would change as the game progresses to represent the top most lineup).

I.e. Keep the two current low and high tier brackets/events. But move the top most lineup to its own, separate, third bracket/event.

This way people who predominantly enjoy top tier / top BR GFSB and want to play the most modern military vehicles can always do so, and won’t be limited to playing the game one every 5 days, if they are lucky to be free on that exact day.

I’d exclusively play GSB but I dislike most of the brackets so only play it when the brackets I do enjoy appear. Top tier or at least near top tier is usually the bracket I enjoy

I would suggest having session lists like in Air SB but for ground. but instead of being actually a session its the br bracket you want. maybe if they ever add EC for ground then they could have that in sim and then they can have the normal session system just like in AIR sim

Not only top tier for God’s sake, I’m not willing to put myself in a situation where a Su-34 instantly destroys me by the moment I step outside or a clowder of Leopards doing the same on the other side.

I’ve forgot to mention that ground simulator battles would be times more populated and player-attracting with either player created rooms or a proper matchmaking just like arcade battles and realistic battles.

I understand, but convincing the snail to make even one more bracket is difficult.
Let alone convincing it to make half a dozen more …

Their position is that the mode isn’t popular enough to dilute the playerbase further between more brackets, increasing queue time. (Whereas IMO you have to provide people with the opportunity to play what they want in order to expand the playerbase)

Please dear god do this. In fact, make every single bracket available in sim at all times.
