Performance after Update Firebird

After the update the game seems to stutter way more than before. Most of the time my fps are between 80-120 but sometimes the game just freezes for a moment? Am I the only one with this problem or is it more common?

I’m experiencing it too though it irons itself out after a bit. I don’t know the technical term but it needs a bit of warming up.

Yeah I’m experiencing the same. I have a 4090 and the game is almost unplayable.

It’s worth noticing that from now on you can’t use TAA + SSAA at the same time, which was the best option for me. Everything was fluid and now I can’t find my way. Also 4090. Everything was perfect with 144 fps…

It’s a dx12 thing because for some dumb reason the did not use pre shader compilation with means you have compute every single new effect and those cause heavy loads on both cpu and gpu

For now just use dx11

I have 1650 and I have the same problem. The game freezes constantly, its almost unplayable. And I use DX 11 to play. Im afraid of even imagining how terrible the situation is with DX 12

Same. previous <180 FPS on Ultra on my RTX 2070 Super. Steady.
Now even on Minimum settings the game freezes for 10 seconds every few seconds. Especially in menus. So now its unplayable, (and I’m paying for Premium :() Verified, re-installed. Tried all manner of settings combos. Nothing works.

I haven’t experienced any of that tbh, I have a 3060ti and so far I’ve had stable 140 fps although some games seem to load wrongly or have issues whenever you alt-tab too much and it sets fps back to 80. Just needs some ironing and the graphics will be fine, i highly suggest trying other option with the graphics and switching from direct 12 to 11 to see if it does something. Try different settings and see if the performance gets better.
