Pegasus-class Hydrofoils

Hey everybody. I’d like to suggest a family of Pegasus-class hydrofoil vessels for the US coastal fleet in-game. It was a class of six patrol hydrofoil missile boats that served with the US Navy from 1977 to 1993. This suggestion serves as a logical addition beyond the typical American motorboat and as a successor to earlier hydrofoils, as the PHM vessels carry impressive and superior firepower: an automatic 76 mm OTO Melara 76 mm gun and eight Harpoon missiles.

Thank you for taking the time to read my suggestion! 😃

Big +1 for more hydrofoil type vessels to be in game, I find them all very interesting.

The harpoon missiles will be a must. Though there power will not last and your sensors will become less useful. When Gaijin goes full anti-ship missiles the AA AI should try to engage them even if 90% of the time they fail. Mach 0.71 to Mach 0.85 though fast its known that autocannon fire has taken down objects that fast from time to time.

Indeed, however, it can be added right now without Harpoons as they have done with Albatros-class fast attack crafts for Germany and Sparviero-class patrol boats for Italy and Japan. They are currently without their advanced anti-ship missiles.

It can fit in the 3.7 BR nicely like Sparviero.

maybe a bit higher WW2 and interwar destroyers wont know what hit them. But anti-ship missiles will cause a big change to naval.
