It essentially is a pseudo-ready rack irl, so that would fit
Should one make a bug report for that or how would I best suggest / report the lack of a ready rack mechanic for the burst fire?
Shouldn’t the name be corrected for the German PzH 2000 to PzH 2000 A2 ?
Seeing as how all four charges are used when you fire a round, it should probably be the max payload velocity, something like the type 99, but far as I can tell, the gun stats are just copied from VIDAR, which also has slow M107 despite having an L/52
Really hope that SAPHE shell gets added, but the bug report hasnt even been looked at yet. Kinda wanna ping gunjob cuz hes a tech mod, so i think he could pass it, but he gets pinged enough and hes usually a plane guy :/
Not sure if it’s been covered but didn’t see it either but according to this doc the laser range finder is an all in one unit with the roof mounted thermal sight. Not sure if this should equate to thermal of gunner or maybe just commander thermal.

Page 3 of the document is where the reference is.
It isn’t true;
I have manufacturer(ZEISS)'s brochuer. It specifies Gen2 night vision device.
you should lol its already able to get penned by 14.5mm when its specified to stop it so it atleast should get saphe
@MBDA_Meteor wanna see something funny?

nah I already saw it
I’ll try to access to my books ASAP
bruh
@Gunjob i know you’re usually the plane guy, but any chance you can get some eyes on this bug report? The shell types in general on the PzH2000 are all pretty awful atm (comparatively), but outright missing its SAPHE shell would be truly unfortunate.

Sorry mate out for Xmas drinks with work this evening. I’ll try to get to it tomorrow :)
We think there are any plans to adjust the sound of the autoloader to reflect its functioning? Having the generic reload sound is a missed opportunity. Would also suit the implementation of the burst fire through a ready rack mechanic
All good, enjoy!
Fingers crossed we also get a ready rack function for 3 fast shots before we get teh 6 sec reload
@Gunjob once you have time, it would be great if you could also sort out the reports about the shells. I believe it will be difficult unless one looks at all the report at once.
First of all a bug mod stated that a vehicle can not have two variants of the same shell type. https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/oYZMlU2RIlej
Yet almost all SPH vehicles in the game currently break this rule, even the Pzh came with them, that is the M107 and M107 (PF) shells, which are identical, except for the fuze. With the fuze switch keybind they are now even more similar.
For us its very important that the PzH gets its trade mark shells, and I dont think they will be a balancing problem.
For you, an overview of the shells:
- L15A1: the first and Original shell used, British origin
- L15A2: for all intends and purposed identical to L15A1
- DM111: The replacement of L15A1/A2, same shell characteristics, but improved to withstand more forces → higher max V0
- DM121 (RH30): Based on DM111, but modernized for better range
- DM131 (RH40): Base-Bleed Variant, even more range
Most commonly used on Pzh: L15A1, DM111 and DM121
In game Japans Type 99 already uses L15A2.
Fillers:
- L15A1: 11.3kg comp b
- L15A2: 11.3kg comp b
- DM111: 11.4kg IMI-104 (insensitive comp b, identical performance)
- DM121 (RH30): 11,5kg Rh26 (PBX - intensive, slightly better than comp b)
- DM131 (RH40): 11,5kg(not confirmed) Rh26 (PBX)
Velocity:
the remaining characteristics like weight (43.5±) and drag etc, is nearly identical and don’t differ in practical terms.
Fuzes:
These shells use standard NATO threading and are therefore compatible with nearly all NATO fuzes, but used on PzH:
- Point impact
- DM84/L166: Time delay(Armor piercing), Proximity, Time, Point detonation
- DM371: concrete/armor piercing
- M1156 PGK: GPS guided
All we want is:
- one high velocity shell (1003m/s):
- with proximity
- armor piercing (SAP)
- one low velocity shell (315m/s)
- SAP or Impact
Im not sure if the new fuze key-bind can cycle between more than one fuze mode?
So at most we want these 3 shells variants.
