in test drive the lower left corner indicates its supposed to be active, but currently it does nothing.

in x-ray in the hangar the breach and the Fire Control System indicates it doesn’t have a stabilizer. But hover over the batteries and they indicate there’s supposed to be a stabilizer…

I’m not familiar if the IRL vehicle has a stabilizer so I’ve got no clue as to how the real life vehicle behaves…

Could we get a similar one here for the open Panzerhaubitze 2K reports? Like the spall liners and ammunition as the 2 main ones coming to my mind.

I spaded my PZH. Imho the maps don’t support this thing. Most matches were on Greece and all kinds of factory and city maps. Its difficult to play in CQC. Turret is rather slow and the HE shell needs aiming for heavy tanks, otherwise OP won’t trigger. Also zero armor, cal50 might kill you. Any autocannon racer driveby’s you.

Its nice to have, but imho mainly a hangar queen. The Laser rangmeter makes it very nice to play on large maps, but they are just too rare. (And most got nerfed again last patch. Like Fulda’s south eastern sector is now a no go zone with offmap timer…)

This is my PzH 2000 GRB stats, I think it is no more bad. pretty decent vehicle.
yeah winning rate is bit poor, but it is due to German 7.7~8.7 vehicle lineup sucks.
33 battles, 37 respawns, 30 deaths and 83 ground kills.

there is more things we should get, but current vehicle is not bad tho.

Yeah speaking from personal experience, the thing is pretty damn good, especially up at 8.7 or even 9.7 when the armor curve starts to come back down and make overpressure more effective, nothing quite like bonking all those russian IFVs you see up at those tiers.

I can confirm this. I have 463 kills (+59 planes) and 143 deaths with 4 nukes. I think 7.7 is a bit low. It should be at 8.0 with the armor fix: i died so many times from bombs, some of them exploded away but I die anyway(armor bug?), and from XM-800T.
About the L15A1, it is not important: the Pzh already have the best shell (the PF). You can do everything with it without changing shell.

The armor values are very wierd but we have no sources with numbers, but in the first week or so it had holes in the armor which got fixed,

Like;
The PzH is 10 tons more heavy than the VIDAR,
And yet the VIDAR has somehow still better armor, sure the PzH hs more ammo and an huge autoloader but still…

Should just remove the OE F3 & m107 ammo completely. L15A1 low and high velocity rounds should be the standard with proxy and saphe. It’s ridiculous modern howitzers use a training round or a round from ww2. Your effectiveness is as good as the recently added m44 at 4.0 but at least that thing can lob things over a hill.

Has anyone tried to destroy airfields with it?

With its payload the PzH 2000 can deliver over 1.2 tons TNTe in a reasonable time. Airfield HP depends on battle rank right? BR 7.7 was 700kg TNTe or so?

Iirc there’s bonus damage for smaller shells/bombs?
Do the SAM sites/radar sites also give you decent SL for killing them?

Will experiment with it next week since there doesn’t seem much info on this.

I want to know how I can reliable find the airfeild so I can take cheeky shots at it.

I am pretty sure you cant destroy then in ground modes

You current global pos can be read from the localhost API, so all you have to do, is subtract the pos from each other to get the direction and distance you have to shoot to hit it.
(getting your current altitude is a bit more tricky as the API doesn’t provide it).

If you want to actually hunt aircraft, the spawn location when they repair might be useful, but youll likely need a teammate with a drone to know when and where to shoot exactly.

I still have to test this in practice a bit more, this is mostly just theory crafting.
The key problem is short service times of aircraft, and long shell travel times. A 20km shot will minimum need >40s shell travel time, and most repairs are just about that long, maybe up to 60s… but it isnt much time to spot, aim and engage the target.
A more interesting and reliable strat might be to target and destroy the AAA, so you allied aircraft can attack the airfield without worries (again just a theory, I need to test how easy it is to so so).

Unlocked Pzh 2000 today, my first test shows pretty disappointing results.
From attempt at pos (x: 2444 y: 1273) I shot at an airfield at (x: 8054 y: 13292)… However the shells self destructed at a distance of around 12500 meters - just short of the airfield.
The config of the shell 155mm PF however has a “maxDistance”: 25000, travel time seems to be >40 seconds.
Any suggestions why it de-spawns this early? Max life time reached or something? I’ll probably have to wait for them to fix this first… yikes.

They still didn’t fix the broken shell selection? still no L15, DM111, DM121 or DM131… yikes.
