Every military history buff knows this name: “Panther”. After all, it was one of the very first jets available to the US Navy and an iconic aircraft of the Korean War era. Or are you thinking of another Panther? Ah yes: the French destroyer Panthère is not as well known as its American counterpart but it still left its mark in history. Yet another Panther, you say? The German armored one? Well, everybody knows about that Panther! You know what? This time, we’re going to talk about ALL Panthers in War Thunder. We’ll list their strengths and quirks and also tell you about their distant relatives!

Good, appreciated. Wish those full fake vehicles could get removed completely, though understood there would be potential legal? issues, and also it would be going against a previous statement from Gaijin that prevents it from removing it for people that already got/bought them.

Yeah, so am I, but still it feels wrong that new players don’t get the same chance as I had back then.

It’s in the game, thousands of older players have it, you meet them regularly in battles, but those newer players are told they can’t have em.

Remember that the Coelian is more realistic than the Ostwind II and the armament options and IRST on the Yak-141. Bring that back at least. And the real Panther II.

Add all three back, perhaps folder the War Thunder Panther II with the irl Panther II. All three of them would slot right back in where they were removed and create useful lineups again.

Except they wouldnt. Panther II is 7.0 where is nothing but Kugel, same for 10.5 cm KT. And Coelian is 6.3 where again, is nothing except Bulldog and M109.

So basically older players have a whole 7.0 line-up for Germany. That seems fair.

I wouldnt call two tanks and SPAA a lineup.

War thunder players try not to beg for removed german vehicles challenged (theyd play it for 15 matches and never touch it again)

First, by itself it’s a pretty standard line-up. Most players 1 or 2 death leave. 3+CAS is fine.

Second, it would be nice to have as a back-up for a 7.3 line-up for Ru-251 and weisel enjoyers.

Third, there are lots of strike aircraft which would fit very well into either 7.0 or 7.3.
