No changes to Skyflash? Thing is incapable of tracking anything at the moment hitting a headon target at mid altitude is somehow a 50/50 coin toss.
This bug is also driving me absolutely nuts at the moment. Its been in the game since fuel tanks were added. but assumed it was a general bug with fuel tanks that would just get fixed.
Respawning (this is what is above) or landing and repairing/re-arming sometimes doesnt actually spawn 1 or either fuel tanks. So I have to sit on the runway and “reload” a second or I’ve even had a third time.

How many aircraft are affected do you know? I haven’t experienced it myself.
Had it with both Tornados come to think of it, so shall update it for that, but only 2 jets I fly with fuel tanks.
100% guarantee this is a SB bug otherwise it would ahve been caught and reported by now though
Alright I will fly out the Tornado Marineflieger in SB, I haven’t had any problems with my Phantoms (However I haven’t taken them out in SB too much)
Its completely random, with no apparent logic as to when it does it or not.

I don’t know what the maximum permissible weight imbalance is for the Tornado, but I feel like 1500kg drop tank might just change how the aircraft flies a “little” bit.
It does, but you burn so much fuel that increasing your fuel load by about 45% I think it is. Makes a huge difference, without them, at least in the Gr1, you have to manage your fuel burn carefully, or you will run out of fuel half way back to base. Which is why my default is to hit 1 base with fuel tanks, I can maintain full reheat for 90% of the trip without any issue at all.
F3s not quite as extreme, because you dont have to travel cross map and can spend your time close to home. its more effecient, but it just helps. And with or without them, you cant even turn fight things liike Mig-23MLs. So vs Mig-29s Id rather take the easy time

The fuel tank just doesnt spawn. You respawn or land and repair/rearm/teleport but it just doesnt give you 1 or both fuel tanks. So you have to sit on the runway rearming again
In the picture above, I literally just respawned with 2 fuel tanks on my loadout. but only spawned with 1.
This is ontop of the existing bugs with fuel selection in SB, that get reported often, but never fixed. but SB gets looked at about once per 6 months, and its always other things they mess with, never the bugs
Well that’s a right bugger, though knowing me I’d do my bombing run then run out of fuel before reaching base, I wouldn’t notice I’d lost a tank. I hope they fix it soon because I’m researching the GR.1 atm and I want to be able to play it.
There is a bug that has been in game since before i started playing SB (which was before FGR2 got Skyflash) where sometimes you’ll respawn and it will just set your fuel load to minimum, even with max, or whatever you have selected, selected. You have to J out, change the fuel load and then change it back to what you want.
Many a player, myself included, has found themselves thinking they had 60 mins of fuel (which in the Tornado is about 10 mins of reheat) but actually only to have about 15 mins. Fuel tnaks have saved many a time where i’ve missed that bug occuring.
This fuel tank bug has been a bug since they were added. So I assume no one reported it, but if not, just keep your eyes open, its pretty obvious though, you respawn or rearm and immediately start rearming

SB needs 3 major updates worth of dev time just to fix the bugs and minor issues at the moment. But instead of fixing them, they just seem to make SB worse. They made a shadow change that slightly increased the Base HP.
It went from 5x Mk13 for a base to 6
and 6x Mk83 to 7
Gr1 is fine, because it can still just run 12x Mk13s for 2x base kills. But the other IDS have been screwed over with only Mk83s and the Harriers can no longer 1 shot a base in a single sortie.
Yeah they need to spend their time fixing sim, even if they gave it a fifth of the attention RB gets it would be a lot better
Legend has it that SB was developed by a single dev, but then something happened to him and it just went down hill from there
