But for some reason Gaijin want the GR1 at 11.3, to use with our extensive 11.0/11.3 ground line up…
ASSTA1 and the IDS (1995) are in a similar boat too. Neither Italy or Germany really have anything of note to be worth keeping at 11.3 with no ARM.
Personally I feel like this has less to do with GRB or “balance” and more to do with “Creating a feeling of progression” between the 3 “mid” Tornados and the 3 “late” tornados. Which is once again, the worst excuse in the world

That is a good point. The devs really hate the Tonka, but they cant just say that, so instead they have to come up with some really terrible excuses
Doesnt even matter for italy as despite what you may think, the arietes and everything else apart from the otomatic are all 11.7 so you were gonna be bringing it to that br anyway.

same with the brimstones. You just look at and sigh, like i could come up with a better excuse that some of the stuff they pull.
Maybe one of them happened to be underneath one in certain countries during the 90s and 00s when they were doing ‘Tornado Type things’.
We’re possibly dealing with undiagnosed trauma and stress here chaps.

Why don’t they just do an event Tonka like a GR.1 model but late and give it Alarm and Sea Eagles

Slow? they are fast as shit man. They are also on the mig 27 at 11.0… What is causing them to be so scared to add even 2 alarms on the gr.1. I would take 2 on the aim9 rails or something.

@Morvran out of curiosity and for sim, do we have any idea what the hud symbology would be like for ARMs on the tornados and typhoons?

I do not have any symbology for it. My manual predates the ALARM modification and the tactics manual doesn’t have any symbology in it despite detailing full ALARM operations haha.
I’ll have to see what I can FOIA, still waiting on Tornado retiring so I can complete the collection and get everything.

Additionally, do you have any information on nav markers that could be used for the aiming points?
