Did the Tornado’s RWR get changed recently?

It never could.
Doesn’t have the coverage in K-band to detect it. It can only ever detect it’s search radar.
ALARM like Brimstone has multiple modes, they can just add the direct fire mode instead of the ones that can loiter (even if that is one of the biggest features of the missile)

difference is the Gr4 was one of the main planes of the update
now if only that option would already be available for hellfires, pars 3, spikes etc etc
yeah they wouldnt be able to find the track radar but they could defiantly find the search radar, which means they can still be hit and killed, now if they turned off the radar its a different story but now they need to find you with their eyes
Did the GR4 ever get JDAMS, or any other ground weapons that arent in game yet
Only one that’s missing and that is a weapon type we have is EPW2 based on the MK.13. Model is done, but wasn’t attached to GR4 for whatever reason.
Germans used the LJDAM and Italians had SDB on their A-200C’s.
But you can use the PW4 and EPW3 on GR4 right now in pure GPS mode already.
Stuff we could have when they come to game are;
ALARM (Anti radiation missiles)
BL-755 (Cluster bombs)
Storm Shadow (Cruise missiles)
ASRAAM (Advanced A2A IIR missiles)
Brimstone MMW (Radar seeking A2G missiles)
the problem is that you only get 1 EPW3 in game, whereas in the description in this post it says the tornado gr4 can hold 2 of them
That’s because we don’t have buddy lasing and so the launch aircraft needs to self lase with a tpod.
In OP Granby that was done by Buc S2Bs for the Gr1s
I was thinking the same, but just realised with Enhanced Paveways there’s a decent case to be made that you should have the option to drop them in GPS only mode with no targeting pod.
Probably an oversight on Gaijin’s part I’d imagine.

I suppose the question remains though. How do you set the GPS target?
You can manaul set the coordinates right? So it’s knowing those figures before hand. So could be used via CCRP maybe?
I doubt it. With the pgm-2000s and ferry tanks. Probably more just never done with tanks being the default
Well IRL the pilot could manually type in co-ordinates. But IIRC other GPS guided bombs don’t need a targeting pod in game, so it doesn’t really matter.
Yep, via CCRP in game, maybe not as easy in SB, but fine in RB.
