They edited it, so hush.

They already exist, but it’s just a very precise bomb with zero deviation from the aiming point. If the target moves from the point where you dropped the bomb, it won’t change its direction. I meant something like TV/IR missiles or bombs. 12 Brimstones were supposed to turn the table over, but until the majors have similar technologies, we will aim “it” through a laser.

The missiles that pretend to be brimstones in game should be the best Britain has to offer

Found my error, this would work for giving us a 12.3 bracket

Alternatively: Stormshadow - Apparently it can have an IR seeker. Or MMW seeker.

They could maybe justify that for Britain.

Id kill for Brimstone to have at bare minimum 0 drift IOG.

Would at least mean you could use them vs multiple static targets like battlefields in Sim. As it stands, yeah, GBU-39s will be WAY more effective for that

Even Kh 38s with the laser more effective.

Yeah…

I don’t know how good the iog on kh 38s are, but the payload probably limits how much of a problem the deviation is.

Pretty good I think. But would have to test it to be sure. at the very least, it doesnt disable itself when laser is turned off I think

Really makes you wonder why Brimstone’s in the state it is and that thing isn’t equally hacked to pieces.

Their argument for it is good, just hypocritical
Off the top off my head it would radar lock a target and fire, theres no IFF for ground vehicles and its range and lack of zoom (doesnt require a pod) means teamkilling would be quite easy.
doesnt stop Soviet players however from teamkilling with what they’ve got

You could argue to get closer but a pantsir is quite a good negotiator of airspace which the soviets conveniently dont have to face an equivalent

This is actually incorrect, and would only be the case if they didn’t bother to implement it properly. But if I argue this, someone will come in and be upset that I don’t kowtow

Their entire argument was BS except for the bit where it can see through smoke.

the whole TK thing is nonsense. At a mininum Mode 2 is LOBL from what I understand and mode 3 only works thanks to pre-programmed targets. Essentially IFF (or rather anti-IFF?)

Modern day i assume not, i havent exactly used a ground radar in games bc theres like 2 vehicles with it but from test driving the current state, there is no IFF

IR Kh 38 that can track you if you leave smoke, and iog into the smoke if you don’t:

The pantir has 12 missiles and 2 cannons. The tornado has (should have) 12 Brimstones and 2 PGM-500. Good luck to the pantir catching all of that.

Yeah, you have to stop, smoke, then move otherwise it just predicts where you should be
