I wouldnt, ive given up. Although i dont even find top tier fun in the gripen even. Its never a 1vs1 with me no matter which direction i go in. Ive flown backwards before making sure i notched any incoming pings to stay “hidden” and still had 3 guys on my ass…
I understand we are entering the most busy time of year for the devs with 3 almost back to back patches and so many new additions.
However, any chance we can get a more definitive answer on where the devs stand with adding combat thrust? If they are planning on never touching the F.3 ever again we can at least stop beating a dead horse.
Im also curious as an extension from that, would there be an argument for the Mk106 engine as to compensate the unplanned speed reduction? Yeah I know it’s a BIG stretch…but considering other aircraft have had artificial nerfs which break historical accuracy, (like the grippen A using sky flashes they never used in service) I’m thinking a one off engine upgrade wouldn’t be a huge head scratcher. Especially since a handful of F.3s did actually receive the engine and were used in active service and the f3 late uses 9Ms with AMRAAMs which never happened.
Thx :)
The definitive answer is “maybe in the future” ahah. Best I’ve got for you.
I’d stop beating the dead horse, if/when it happens I’ve got it in hand, no need to worry, the earliest opportunity to push for it I will. Rest easy.
Thx I’m just really impatient lol :D
Now the difficult question. If you had to pick which to come first out of these 2 options. What would it be?
Combat Thrust
or
JP233
:P
(I think I know which I’d pick)
Damn, Gajins fr going to ignore the situations the Tornado IDS variants are in while additional aircraft are going down in BR…nice
Gajin said they gonna work out sth for strike and bombers in general
Yep, Mig-23MLD is apparently now a worse aircraft than the Tornado Gr1.
I mean, after MTI was changed, i bet stats did a nosedive.
The lack of MTI being available is painful but you can just use R24Ts from ages away.
Well… Its been confirmed. Sea Harrier FRS1 and AMX A-1A are 100% equal in performance to the Mig-23MLD.
The Sea Harrier FRS1 is going down to 11.0 in ARB with the BR changes
edit: my bad i didnt realise the Mig23s were also going down, thats so stupid
But not SB. Instead multiple 11.7s are joining it at 11.3
In SB. Gaijin considers itts performance equal to the Mig-23MLD and the Tornado Gr1 Superior to the MLD
and yeah, even in RB. The change means kinda nothing because most 11.3s are moving down as well.
Oh boy I can’t wait to fight su-27s as well as F-15s/16s in my FGR
Cant wait to spend 5 minutes just trying to attain a lock with your “radar” while the su 27 has already fired 2 r27ers at you from 50km away… The fgr cannot be moved down but the same should have been for the su 27s/f16s and f15s… Make the max br 14.0 for air and 13.0 for ground as the pantsir should honestly be 13.0 with a handfull of mbts and the rest bellow it so as to not see it in a jet with limited capabilities… AKA, a jag gr1a being able to see it as of rn.
Even the well equipped Tornado F3 is going to struggle vs them and god knows how the Tornado Gr1/ ASSTA1/A200A are suppose to operate evading F-16s now. Aim-54s were easy, but F-16s? Not a chance.
Its just went back to the old 11.3 br brackets again… Tornados having to dog fight f16s and mig 29s every match… At least im having fun in my harrier at 11.0, need to check out my bis sau
Yeah… Its unplayable for me in Sim, as its the same BR as the Mig-23MLD
Yeah, playing 11.0 rn and im just watching teams being decimated by the mig 23 hoard, reminds me of the old days yet again of the mig 23 supremacy… Gaijin has managed to come full circle yet again.
One strange change i saw was the f4e being moved to 11.0 in sim? It just makes me want it even more now, guess ill have to focus on my Israeli tt as im closer to the kurnas.
Su27/mig 29s with R-27ERs wouldn’t be the fantasy uber missile truck it is if the guidance algorithm of the R27R/ER ingame worked the same way a real one did. Same thing for the radar performance/limitations.
It’s a spec sheet uber weapon but a look into how it works demystify it. As the saying goes, the devil is in the details.
But it still wont save you from one fired under 20km. Unless you go completely defensive, you are getting whacked out of the sky in a fireball.
