It’s because it’s not what people expect when they see brimstone. Instead we have this gutted version that acts like a glorified hellfire that takes 3 business days to do anything paired with the poor IOG and impact point inherited from the poor modelling of hellfire will make them unfun to use even for them that are willing to use them. It’s really fun hitting a T-90 3 times with hellfires and all it does is black the barrel so why would someone want that experience in a jet. That’s why I’d rather not have them at all.

Im not sure what you are referring to here. The only outstanding report to resolve its its Proxy fuse. Range has yet to be proven for sure. Other than that, the missile has its full modelled performance for SAL mode.

if that needs as long as the proximity fuse of the pars 3 we arent getting it any time soon

Because we can’t get data for its range it had the effect of making its flight time longer over range causing severe speed bleed caused by excess drag to make it fit with gaijin current implementation to the extent that towards the latter stages of its flight it can barely keep itself in the air controllable and wiggles around like a worm and can causes the missile to completely miss the target because of this. Unless that got changed between devserver and live

The copy pasted IOG from hellfire doesn’t help either unless it got changed?

we already asked about IOG back on the dev server and apparently its accurate, its only meant to get the missile to the general location not hit the exact spot

boy do I have some news for you…

the only thing that would change this besides alterations to drag is a change to the motor, and as we have a source for Brimstone motor performance the alternative would be adding Brimstone 2. There’s nothing to be done for Brimstone DM aside from potentially increasing the battery life, which makes no difference to this point.

Hellfire has a drift of 3.5, Brimstone has a drift of 2 (GNSS has a drift of 0). PID changes would have more of an impact.

This would be my desired solution for the GR4. Wouldnt really be any better than the KH-38 in terms of range, but would minimise loiter time for the GR4

@Smin1080p_WT dont know who to contact, but currently while using the Tornado GR4, I cannot flare, chaff, or fire missiles above mach 1.01 while also holding bombs. is this a common glitch, or has the bomb release permission been added to everything else by accident?

I think I saw a thread about that with the F-15E as well

its pissing me off, keep getting killed by things as bad as 9Js because the plane wont let me flare

It will explain why I couldnt drop CMs earlier in an ARB match, but then it started working again and im not sure what I did to get it to work. Though didnt have any issues in SB

its a known issue for many planes.

I keep getting caught out by the release limit for bombs. I havent played much Tornado in recent months since that change. So Im still use to just staying at max reheat and dropping bombs at mach 1.02 ish without issue
