Co-pilot when?

That is a huge part of it in my opinion. The search modes on the radar are clearly designed for a co-pilot and it does feel like a major handicap at times. Its why no matter what we get next, im hoping its a single seater like the FA2, with any luck, it will have better search modes

I think we should get ala hmd in planes with co pilots. After all the joystick they have is not for nothing. Also in F4s (not F4S) co pilot has rwr

Yeah, they certainly need to do something, F-14s too.

@Gunjob sorry for the ping, but do you have any idea if something like this is considered?

WSO in back seat? Not a clue.

On playstation i think you can kind of do this if you set up a keybinds for pilot and WSO and then share play and allow them to play with you. If it does work it would be like a handicapped WSO but still fun.

Ok so here i go
@Smin1080p do you have any idea if planes that have a co pilot/WSO, and that pilot have a joystick or something that allows for control of radar/missile seeker (Tornado F.3, F4s, F14s), will get something simmilar to HMD?

Currently there are no plans for this. It would not be the same as HMD or the benefits that offers.

Yea i know. It would not provide he HMD overlay. The least it would do is allow for radar locking simmilar to HMD locking we have in game, but at full lenght. But knowing how it is around, it will probably not follow the mouse, but would be movable using keybinds.

Wouldn’t it just be what disabling the automatic target cycling does already?

Well yes, but not. It would be something ilke a HMD

That thing, but you are not locked to 9km (in provided on picture f16 range as a example), whole radar range
and if not then yes.

So you could pick a specific target within the radar display.

Well not, you either have a HMD mouse aimed thing, something very simmilar to what cycling switched off does now, but you see the square, or nothing

This thread isn’t the right place to ask, but there isn’t really a point asking. They recently said in a Q&A that they are happy with how the British Phantoms are performing, based on their statistics. That includes the J(UK) unfortunately.

Tornado with ASRAAM will probably be high enough a BR to fight F-22s.

Britain tax. No matter air, ground or naval, we have underperforming vehicles. If that can’t be achieved through loadout nerfs (such Aim9L on the FGR2) its achieved through BR.

Does that mean the same goes for aim-9p4 as well?
