Применение Су-57 в массированных ракетных ударах по военным объектам Украины » Авиация России

Ростех - Медиа - Новости - Су-57: 15 лет в небе

The Su-57 is a fifth-generation Heavy class fighter (J-20/F-22) with the largest internal armament compartments to date, with supersonic cruise flight mode…
Do not repeat the advertising nonsense, the Swedes have already declared Gripen the Su-35S killer, more recently the South Koreans have followed this path, declaring their KF-21 also the Su-35S killer…
1.By the way, the KF-21 program, in particular, further development in the form of the KF-21EX, looks more promising than new variants of the JF-17…

Spoiler

2.Besides It’s not clear what you’re comparing-so far, the paper draft of the new JF-17 variants is conditional on the Su-57 or the Experimental T-50…
3. Let me remind you that since the end of 2024, only two variants of the Su-57M and Su-57E have been in serial production…
4. Only three aircraft in the world today have the most advanced data exchange and transmission system (Su-57/ Su-57M/F-35 and J-20)…
A similar system is being designed for the Rafale F5 of the UAE Air Force with the money of the UAE government (it is very expensive) with the introduction in 2028-2030…

I was just trying to explain to you that so far these are just promising projects with many unknown quantities, for example, engines /network capabilities of integrated radars /computer technologies of virtual reality and Artificial Intelligence / access to which technologies China will allow (for example, Lockheed sold patents for 31 positions for the KF-21) and so on…
Competitors are not standing still and are also developing…
If they want to make a twin-engine version, wouldn’t it be easier to focus on joint production of the J-35A!?

I wont claim to know the inner workings of PAC or PAF, but they have put an order down for a few J-35s and the PFX program seems to be in complement of that order

So far, this does not look logical, unless it is planned to replace all Mirage-3/5 and all F-7 with JF-17…
Personally, I thought they would change to J-10!
Is there any information on how many J-10s have been ordered?

Yes, that is exactly the plan.

They have ordered a bunch for point defence (mainly frontline like Mig-29), but it won’t be the PAFs flagbearer.

So far, it’s ~25

As you can see, this is hardly enough for a permanent solution.

Pakistan trialed M1A1. Since the Oplot is already in the TT. You can include the Abrams as well.
