5th gen for Pakistan has been confirmed but we don’t know which one truly.
KAAN may prove to be a great learning experience for PAC and that may be used in the JF-17 PFX
I think right now Pakistan Army needs troop carrier instead of using old toyota trucks for transportation purposes because these trucks does not provide any significant protection for troops against IED attacks.
while true they offer little to no protection, these are mostly peacetime transports. we have our APCs and MRAPs for dangerous areas. civies usually dont see much of those

Yes. Mig 29 like skin on the JF-17 will look nice. BAF will probably use low visibility skin on the JF-17

Rare picture of Bangladesh’s RN94 APC. Unfortunately we cant see the turret of this apc. So its hard to say which gun it had. Probably 14.5mm

NASTP has defined the future upgrade path for the JF-17.
We will be getting the JF-17 OCU (after block 3) (presumably block 4) which is currently under the project designation PFX ALPHA. While this aircraft wont be 5th generation, it will stand to match the best jet fighters in the 4.5+ generation such as the Rafale, Eurofighter and Su-57. source
The second aircraft will be the previously known JF-17 PFX, also known to be under Project AZM. Now it has been redesignated under the project designation PFX LETHAL. Unusually for the PAF, they seem to have gone back to the choice of a twin-engine design. @Miraz05 you mightve been onto something back then when u showed me that twin engine jeff doc.
PFX Lethal will have an internal weapons bay, RAM coatings, stealth and high endurance coupled with TVC for Lethality in all aspects of Air combat.
Im yet not sure about what will happen about the J-31 deal between Pakistan and China, however, it is true that PAC and PAF have not given up on domestic efforts. And i for one am all for it!
