Yes, but even adding the amount of aircraft left behind by the USA during the fall of Saigon/USA withdrawal and the total of American aircraft shot down, it’s still MUCH lower than the total amount of Russian/North Vietnamese aircraft shot down during the war. This is why I’m surprised that he only remarked on the “American” scrap, despite it being of the minority. Unless he was exclusively referring to abandoned aircraft.
The difference between going full elevator in a sustained turn in normal RB controls and going full elevator in full real on dampening is quite noticable, atleast in AOA. Seems like the instructor is holding the MiG-29 back too much
Going full elevator once you have full reflexes honed is almost impossible to do accidentally in air RB.
Minor mouse movement and/or ASDW keys.
As for instructor, it will do a lot of AOA, up to 13Gs worth; your job in any aircraft that will do more Gs than your sustained is to reduce the G-limit to sustained with key pressed and/or minor mouse movement.
You’ll become better at managing energy in air RB with those tactics.
That information is completely false, in reality Vietnam only has a small number of Mig-17 and Mig-15 aircraft. Currently there are still many wrecks of B-52, F-4, F-105 aircraft lying in ponds, lakes, and rivers.
