P51H WEP time seems pretty disputed

I’ve been looking around for specs of the P-51H (about to get it and am trying to prepare) and I’ve noticed a lot of different people talk about how long the water injection lasts. I’ve seen 7 mins, 8 mins and 33 seconds, even one that said 12 mins. Does anyone know why the results vary so much?

Never seen the 12min figure, I would be interested in anyone providing reliable sources for any WEP time.

Download WTRTI. It has a WEP time counter.

Thanks. Where can I get it, and is it safe?

It is using information from localhost that gaijin provides and simply makes it possible to see it on a single monitor.

Here’s a link to its original publication on the old forums.

It’s quite useful for figuring out how planes function in test flight given how the wiki is missing PRETTY CRUCIAL information like WEP time and MEC supercharger tresholds.

You can even set it up to plot engine performance against altitude or engine performance against IAS/TAS to figure out your plane’s ideal situations.

Alright thanks!

When I tried to open a configuration with the war thunder launcher shortcut, it said “catastrophic failure”. How am I supposed to import the configuration to the game?

To confirm:

  1. You downloaded WTRTI.v2.3.3_windows.zip and NOT Source code(zip) or the wrong OS, right?
  2. If yes, is it in a folder with WRITE permissions? I simply extracted the ZIP to my desktop (win 10)
  3. I opened WT afterwards and went to test flight
  4. I clicked WTRTI.exe
  5. It opened this interface:

  1. I clicked the “+” button and added the interface elements I wanted with the “+” button
  2. I pressed the floppy icon to save my configuration to the default /profiles folder (found at desktop/WTRTI/profiles for me so that when i start WTRTI, it gives me these elements.

This is what test flight looks like for me with it enabled:

(please ignore the ADATS that merked me while I alt tabbed to this topic lmao)
