Being foldered under the other P-40s makes sense, but at the same time I really want it at rank 3.
+1 for the US tree, but also as highlight by others, a Dutch service variant would be cool in the French tree as well
It’s wild that USA currently only has 2 TT P-40s and only 3 total, given how many different models there were and how they were the backbone of the early-war USAAF. Or for that matter that only 7 P-40s are in the game total across all nations. And the P-40N-20 (or any P-40N) would fit quite nicely between the P-40F-10 and P-51C-10.
Yeah I just picked the N-20 because it was the most produced and also the specific model for which the manual I could find was referencing lol
+1, but this is pretty much the same power that the current P-40E is making (1470hp), unlike the Allison in the P-63A-10 and C-5 that makes 1800hp.
+1 for P-40N-20. I want to see the P-40B, P-40L, P-40N-40 with a natural metal finish, and the XP-40Q for the US tree as soon as possible. It would be certainly nice to have a variety of Warhawk variants for War Thunder, as they are fun aircraft to fly!

100%, I’d love to see more P-40 variants, period. The P-40B is just too iconic not to have. The P-40K, L, and M would also be nice to have as filler

To add onto the suggestion. I really think the P-40 should be in the British tech tree as well. Especially as the RAF, RAAF, SAAF and RNZAF all used them prolifically during WW2. A decent late model like the -N as the Kittyhawk IV would be excellent.

theres a couple british skins for the US P-40E, so likely they didn’t forget about it but rather just didn’t have a need to put it in the British TT as it would just be there to be there and would fill any needed role.
Less about filling a gap and more about giving you options on vehicles you want to play.
