Aam4 hardly even feels better to use. The data mine for it shows it has a copy paste mica motor, and has the worst booster and sustainer because of its weight, so it struggles hard to get up to speed
the raptor wont be as good in war thunder as you think
Its biggest advantage is the stealth, which realy wont be a thing in war thunder
Why would I want a lower BR jet. Typhoon FGR4 is better than F-22. Maybe if the maps were 300km x 300km, But they arent. Meteor will make short work of a F-22

And before you go on about how aam4 is shitting on every missile: its not. there are even problems with the missile right now where thrust isnt enough and/or burn time isnt long enough, resulting in poor acceleration, speed and range. And for maneuverability wise, it would never win against things like MICA with TVC.

I don’t care either way. I just find the Brit mains trying to mock US mains begging for stuff we never used to be hilarious. If the Raptor ever comes, it will be added in a position where its advantages are negated completely. Thats the war Thunder way.

Irl, in game AAM-4 is best followed by MICA and the others are kinda tied with PL-12 and R-77 being the worst.
