Most of those training fights put the Raptor at a major disadvantage. Generally reflectors to reduce its stealth, drop tanks to reduce its maneuverability and no BVR engagements.
man the derby is doing what top attack missiles are supposed to do
Why’s that
Right! You got it! Just like using a vastly superior aircraft to kill lesser aircrafts that literally have no hope against you then beating your chest and aping around like you did something!
If people wanna do that… they can do that nothing wrong with that.
I still stand with my opinion though.
Look at other games, Su-27 using R-27ER having to use quite the brainplay to beat F-16C’s, 15Cs, many other fox 3 capable jets.
It is fun dear brotha.
another KF41 drama variant of
why the producer countries didn’t get the better weapon variant than the export ones
The us doesnt get the aam-4… because the US didnt make the AAM-4. Yes, they had a technology exchange during the development of it, but thats like saying the UK made the F-35 as they developed some of the stuff on it. Or honestly even thats more accurate as there actually are british designed parts on the F-35; there is, to my knowledge, no foreign designed components on the AAM-4. Also yes, its currently shitting om the other ARHs, you want to know something? Its still underperforming significantly compared to IRL. Yes, honestly the AAM-4A shouldnt be in the game, we probably should just have gotten a 120B, but they also gave us a plane using a fake name that was a terrible choice to be added at all, we just have to deal with it now.
Nah.
oh specific permanent members hater coming, i’m not surprised to see them at a US main post
Well you cant learn new things without getting defeated and thats what US motto is.
Tbh if they put Raptor in equal or a position that has pretty huge advantage then those training wouldnt mean anything.
Because it wasn’t an awful take at all alot of people share it
Yeah, people put too much stock in beating the US during those exercises.
Thats partially USA fault.
They have set such a high bar that other countries inevitably feel the need to compare themselves with them.
and most nations dont invest anywhere near as much into their military as the US does (as other nations invest in things like Health Care and Education…) So if other nations can keep up, with their own vehicles, on a fraction of the budget. Then its probably good enough in a conflict/domestic security. Especially with things like NATO meaning not everyone has to invest insane levels of funds into their military to go toe-to-toe with other big military powers like the US, China or “Russia”
The US spends so much on defense specifically because Europe isn’t keeping up. The US has more aircraft than most European nations combined. The US has more Raptors than any one nation has Typhoons. The US had more F35s than Europe has Typhoons. Let’s not pretend like Europe takes its own defense very seriously.
I wonder one the biggest economy has the biggest army
i wonder hmmm
Those are good points, the thing is Europe does not actively try to keep with USA at least in terms of numbers, although thanks to NATO they dont have to.
Yep, though Europe, who cant fielded as many forces, does tend to opt for quality over quantity. It’s why a lot European infantry get a lot more training than the US for example. Also the winners of most NATO tank competitions is often the Challenger 2
Thats actually debateble considering Leopard2, Abrams series won many competetions as well.
Tbh i dont think Challenger is on the same level that Leopard2A7+,M1A2 SEPV3 sits because of obvious design choices. New Challenger might change that tho.
Exactly.
Well replacing limited amount of infantry will take a lot of time, Germans learned that in hard way so better training is essential in that case.
Goes for most these missiles underperforming, with only the amraam being vaguely close to reality. MICA’s a joke compared to real performance.
