17th Vympel Detachment is a newly formed War Thunder squadron looking for active players to help us build a relaxed community.
Our main focus is Ground RB, Air RB, Squadron Vehicle research, and casual squad play. You do not need to participate in competitive Squadron Battles, and there are currently no strict rank or skill requirements.
Whether you’re grinding your first tech tree, rebuilding an account, working toward Squadron vehicles, or already playing top tier, you’re welcome.
What we’re looking for: active players, respectful behavior, Squadron activity, and people who actually enjoy War Thunder. Discord/team play will be encouraged as the squadron grows, but we’re not trying to turn the game into a second job.
The squadron uses a fictional Soviet/Russian special-operations theme for flavor and roleplay. Participation in the RP side is entirely optional.
