Seeing that the otomatic is 11.3, there would be no reason to have the draco with the dart round at a lower br…
B1 Draco and a 2S38 late with guided rounds would be a cool update.
iirc B1 Draco doesn’t get APFSDS (or they could just not give the B1 Draco APFSDS and then change the OTOMATIC to a light tank like the 2S38)
You’ll get no disagreement from me - They still ought to get their domestic SPAA.
Until then, this is at minimum a stop-gap measure to stem at least some of the bleeding.
The Strela contrast seeker thing makes this the best SPAA around 10.3. Wish my Ozelot could use the Datalink to shot Stingers to IRST locked helis, which are out of Stinger locking range.

The issue with that is that you have to hope that it is just a stop-gap, rather than the (imo) more likely case of the OSA being the only SPAA Italy will get for a few years (unless Gaijin decides to completely overhaul SPAA at top tier, which doesn’t seem likely).

I would not be surprised at all… But the top tier situation isnt tennable. I can only think that they are edging CAS up to the point where they can add some powerful SPAA to all nations.(or at least we hope all nations). Fingers crossed its all in one update not staggered over 2025 though

The best I can hope for is:
UK/Italy - Land Ceptor/Grifo, both with CAMM and not CAMM-ER (potentially an ahistorical missile choice)
But the UK will probably just get the Tracked Rapier and Italy maybe nothing, idk.

There is also the ASRAAM slinger for Britain, but thats tricky, yeah Land Ceptor is probably the most likely.
But yeah… Im not holding my breath for that. Im just begging we get a 7.0 battleship in Decemeber along with a mountain of bug reports fixed.

Would of been nice if they added the South African captured OSA that had supposedly been modified to fire the ZVM missile
No, afaik that was the plan, but it never happend. Would be glad to be proven wrong tho.

Sad noises. I need a proper SPAA for my line up. The M113 adats is woeful and the OSA missile takes 10 business days to arrive at its target

Let me introduce you to G6-HVM, one of the best things UK can get as of right now.
Not bad but I see gaijin never implementing it because it’s not far from a similar situation of the mock up Rooikat ZA-HVM :( we really need something that can deal with the Su34 outside of SPAA range. Tired of watching them launches missiles at 20km and not being able to do anything about it.
Wdym it is not far? It’s a real vehicle. So is the Rooikat SAM, I just need a picture.
osa is a great sam, ofcourse every sam has its own drawbacks stop expecting a perfect sam, that does not exist in real life and therefore also not in game.
I mean the G6 one seems like a mock up vehicle much like the rooikat ZA-HVM. We were once getting the ZA-HVM but it got removed before it was seen due the discovery of it being a mock up that never had a functioning turret system. So is the G6 one similar situation where it never progressed past the mock up stages or did it actually function and test fire the missiles it was planned to use?
It was functional, it fired its missiles.
If it was a mockup it would not be suggested in the first place.
