This is still not considered a source. For example, in another post he accused the developers of the fact that the T-80U has a 50mm middle plate, not 30. However, on his website in the article about the T-80U there is a diagram with a 50mm steel plate in the middle.

Но к этой вот ВЛД Т-80У, который выпускался без ВДЗ и имел плиту 50 а не 30 мм «добавили» ВДЗ. Конечно, получился Т-80У с большим эквивалентом от БПС чем Т-80УД, но выпускался то с ВДЗ вариант с 30 мм плитой.
What do we see in the picture? A tank with Kontakt-5 (ВДЗ), not a mounted ERA “навесной ДЗ” (Kontakt-1) and 50mm central plate. You are extremely inattentive.
Well yes I already said so. Unless we have the complete report it’s not a source good enough for devs.
In terms of Btvt’s other comments, they’re unrelated to this matter, even if I agree with some things he says.
Yea but they shouldn’t have accepted a bug report like this with such little proof. This is all just guesswork and estimations.
Any changes to the Oplot’s armor or vertical traverse speed?
Elevation speed is the same

I think it might be a good idea to make a dev report about the use of wrong brochure for modelling the ERA
Eh, you gotta be very stacked on info and precise proofs, you have seen how every word you put in bug report demands being proven/unproven/reproven by solid info behind it covering this subject.
I mean we know this new ERA is not really comparable to real Duplet from the weight even if the claim was 70% reduction from K-1 instead of normal Duplet.
To me it seems this is an improved version of ХСЧКВ 19 or 19A with improved materials that allow them to perform against older APFSDS as well as ХСЧКВ 34… in theory.
Remember this ERA is most likely just a concept. There is no documentation of its existence or testing.
Well, were there only freshly conducted test on Nizh/Duplet ERA (especially as Ukraine now operates 105 and 120mm tank guns) with rounds like DM63, DM53 and M829A2 alongside 3BM42… These would show much more clear image of what are ERA specs when used nowadays and against more modern munitions
Because, imho, proving ХСЧКВ ≠ HKChPWSH is relatively dumb because nobody so far has stated these are indeed different models. Unless, well, something like UAE 2003 act shows model 34 tests, and these numbers turn out to be different from that of UAM right now
EDIT: also, I find comparrisons to “predecessors” and “other domestically produced analogues” too vague. Again, one should prove that predecessors and analogues in question are model 19/34s by microtech in order to prove these are two separate things
The manufacturer itself says so. But I see your point. Regardless I think the specs should be modelled according to brochures specifying the use of the real elements instead of these concept elements.

685mm is slightly more than 621 it was showing in a screenshot earlier. Can you show what the front profile looks like vs BM60? I am wondering if 35mm hidden structural steel was changed to something else

I might be wrong, but wasn’t on dev server base armor just textolite (35mm) + back-up HHRHA (60mm)?
Right now it shows things like 2x HHRHA and textolite (I can’t check myself cause I am pooron console player)
There is no change to ERA though, and its layers
It was updated to be 60mm + 35mm + 50mm in the latest versions of the last dev server
