Old Event Vehicles Air/Ground/Naval

15% per sale. So, if a coupon is sold multiple times, they can get more than “just” 15%.

15% is subtracted from the amount you recieve after each sale. Eg: if you list something for 100 GJC you get 85 GJN if it sells.

Dump them back to the tech tree.

last chances to get your vote in lol

I’m guessing you mean vehicles which were once in the tech tree like the R2Y2s, Tiger II 105, Panther II, Gladiator II S/F, etc.? Because yeah, 100% agreed. But I also wouldn’t mind them coming back in a time-gated way like the Maus, as long as they come back regularly.

What do you mean?

I thought they were copy paste (did they even exist irl?)

No idea, but I assume they did. You’re right in that they were copy-paste, they used to be the old British reserves before the Hawker Fury and Nimrod came along IIRC.
They weren’t the only reskinned reserves either, Germany had the He 51 C-1/Late and Japan the Ki-10-II C. None of which were unique in any way gameplay-wise, but it wouldn’t hurt to have them back and they do have some unique skins. The Ki-10 in particular…

To keep this directly related to the thread topic: the Gladiator IIS was brought back for an event in 2015, which I really like as a standard for bringing back removed tech tree vehicles. It would be great if all removed tanks/planes/ships got the same treatment every now and then.

What’s the point of closing a thread? Wouldn’t you want to keep it active, thereby increasing its visibility?

silver lion crates are a scam i see very few people ever get anything out of them unless they spend millions of lions which you could buy 5-6 toptiers with

I get ~10 vehicles PER SL crate event. But if you are talking about needing SL’s for “top tier” vehicles, then you probably don’t want to be buying SL crates yet anyway. The SL crates are more geared towards long time players with huge amounts of excess SL’s, and/or players who have their favorite research trees completed, and nothing else to spend their SL’s on.

You do you. I have gotten somewhere between 40-50+ vehicles from the crates. Multitudes of vehicles I missed out on because of IRL stuff. I started playing WT in 2014, before tanks were even added to the game. But only played maybe 30%-40% of the time over those years, hence missing out on TONS of event vehicles.

There is good advice on how to maximize the SL crate events, which I post each and every time in the official SL crate event threads. If you want advice, it is there. You only have to ask.

Wellll I said it… now where’s my darn commission lol

It’s a bit tedious and unreliable for my taste (grind BP, buy BP, hope you get the specific vehicle you want out of the four), but still leaps and bounds for Gaijin.
I hope we see things like the EBR (1954) and Lorraine 155 soon. It would be great to see tanks like the Sturmtiger coming back as well if they dare to open up vehicles of that rarity.
At the end of the day, I would prefer a more reliable method of picking up old BP/event vehicles.

Does anyone actually enjoy grinding 40,000 event points for a limited-time vehicle, then repeating it nine times , every two days ?

Why not move these event vehicles to the Tech Tree after one or two years? Or at least let players research them after they’ve completed full Tech Tree in( example if u completed ussr u can research mig25) . There should be a permanent way to earn these vehicles instead of locking them behind time-limited events or predator market place

And please don’t mention the SL loot crates. You need tens of millions of Silver Lions just to have a chance, and the odds of getting a specific vehicle are practically zero. They’re not a realistic way to obtain old event vehicles.

No one enjoys researching for a vehicle, and I think that everyone would like to have everything in-game with little effort as possible. The thing with event vehicles are that they’re exclusive either through a limited amount of time, loot crates or through the Marketplace if selling ticket is available.

Because they’re exclusive and event vehicles should be kept as so. Gaijin market War Thunder as a free-to-play game, where do you think they get their revenue? From vehicles sales, premium assets and the Marketplace. What’s the point of going through the event if someone could get it after a year or two or doing another task?

I don’t like the two days thing but I like exclusive vehicle given to people that gave out their time for it as much this isn’t enjoyable a bit and for the most part, recent event vehicles is completely useless and don’t have the exclusive aspect that they should have (CRV Block 2 as example).
