How exactly does IRCM disrupt a missile if it is guided by wire and doesn’t seem to have any IR sensor?

The missile gets command to follow the sight. The sight locates the missile to gets its relatvie position and looks at the target. The APS flashes/blinds the sight making it not see the missile and the target, causing it to go haywire. The Swingfire even tho it gets the command thru the cable the command are made by the sight (or to be specific sensors) (unless we talk the old version that is manual), so when the sight is blinded it starts “seeing the target” in some places inside the flash, making missile go to that place. Irl test would be try to focus at something and then flash a flashlight that is next to it into your eyes while the light level is below average, so that the flashligh is not overshadowed by the light around it.

But only the opportunity to buy two planes for full price on the day of Britain’s air defense against the Germans.
We have SA and they get discounts for they army day, but why not Britain?

Is there a suggestion for the TTD 120mm?
Is it functional? Looks cool, I want it.
As far as I know the turret is a decommissioned dummy turret (the test is about the chassis longevity, not firing performance), and fixed in place. The hull is operational though. It’s at bovington if you’re near by and want a look.
