2.7 to 4.0 is hell
I would say 2.7 is fine if you don’t take it too seriously, the 2pdr Crusader, a couple Valentines, the Archer, and some 2pdr wheely bois.
3.0 gives you some 6pdr things, the Churchill box, and a Bofors.
3.7 gives you Cromwells, a Sherman, Achilles, 6pdr SARC.
4.7 is great
I feel like we have opposite opinions now haha, 4.7 feels like it loses a lot of flexibility, it can work well in downtiers but I feel like uptiers are reliant on the Avenger (and now M44)
7.7 is good but suffers from extreme compression
8.0 is what the 7.7 lineup should be
Yea agree here
8.7 is brilliant because APDS actually works now
I would say 8.3 is worth a try, it gives you the ZA-35 and Falcon which can really do well, the Vickers Mk.3 and Ollie give you laser rangefinders (and the latter gets a dart too), you also get the Warrior and, if you feel like it, a couple ATGM carriers.
8.7 gives you the Chieftains and Vickers Mk.11, and if you feel like it the Rooikat Mk.1D (which last I heard was pretty poor) and personally I’m not sure if it’s worth uptiering the rest for.
Going beyond that kinda depends on your aircraft and also if you have any premium or event vehicles.
9.3 is kinda slim but gets you the Bucc S.2 and the Wessex as CAS options, and if you have the Khalid it helps round it out.
10.0 is kinda doable if you have the proto-chally but still slim, Desert Warrior slots in as the light vehicle and you get 2 SAM options, and can slot the Rooikat 105 if you have it (or some 9.3s if you’re desperate)
10.7 is where I would stop, Chally Mk.3 and Vickers Mk.7 with the L26 round, 5 SAMs available so you can take what works best for you, T-90S if you’re patient enough, and the Bucc S.2B and Jaguar GR.1A providing “smart” CAS in different flavours, alongside the Lynx if you like Helis.
