The BUR HE ammo, I noticed that it sometimes flys just nicely, and at other times it drops like a stone. Why is this?
In other words, what made it fly in ok way?
Are you getting a message along the lines of “line of sight to missile obstructed?”
the HE round in the 775 isnt a missile just a rocket assisted round so that shouldnt happen
I did a multiple test drive it and here what has happened every time:
I aim the first (closest) Leopard, switch to BUR (number 2), shoot, and the rocket flies and hits nicely. Then I go to the next, and the rocket falls into the water in front of the tank.
I repeat by restarting the test drive, same thing.
Then, LOL, I figure that even with hitting the key 2 to select BUR, the first shot is still the regular rocket as I see the deduction from it. Then I select the BUR again, and it keeps falling down. When I use the range measurements on the scope, I hit the target.
Therefore, I was confused by the fact that even after selecting the BUR, the regular rocket would go out.
When BUR is really selected, it hits the target with the cross on it only at the very close range. Otherwise, the gun height has to be adjusted.

If you have a shell (or missile in this case) already loaded, you do not select what you fire, but what will be loaded next. So if you have Rubin sleected as your primary ammunition, it is loaded into the barrel, when you select Bur, it will be loaded next, but you have to fire the Rubin first.
Thanks. Seems just as you explained. Whatever is already loaded, that is going out first.
