Object 292 Needs ERA – Proven Compatibility, BR Justifies It

Assuming the HE mechanic is consistent and everyone have 155m HE in their pocket at every time then sure.

Not even close. How much longer are you going to keep lying for? Additionally, being disingenuous DOES infact make you wrong. It also proves you’re completely dishonest and can’t be trusted to hold a good faith conversation.

The 292 needs nothing else. End of discussion. If anything, it needs to be uptiered.

Some reason it’s buged but my point get’s accross

It will definitely make it OP since Gaijin still isn’t adding any darts that can penetrate russian ERA, adding it to more tanks would definitely benefit the player in increasing the survivability and the BR, if you want ERA on your favorite tank then its place would be at 11.3-11.7, but making the tank’s hull unpenetrable with the best dart in the game and get to stay at the same BR is a braindead idea.

T90M is still the most armored tank in the game, Relikt eat Mavericks easily, you can’t lolpen the tank, if it gets a better transmission then it would definitely surpass 2A7.

Dawg this is so stupid it isn’t even worth respoding or is it rage bait who knows i’ll put ChatGPT to anwser this.

Seriously? If we wait for “magic darts” before giving ERA to every Russian tank, we’ll be stuck at 10.7 forever—and still get one-shotted by every NATO MBT. ERA isn’t some power-creep cheat code; it’s a historical upgrade that helps tanks survive flurries of incoming rounds. Dropping it behind an arbitrary 11.3–11.7 BR gate just forces everyone to trade off armor for more BR padding. Either give the kits where they belong or admit that your fear of “too much survivability” is just an excuse to keep everything glass-thin. -ChatGPT

It roughly shares the same weakspots as all the other T-series tanks. I have yet to have much trouble dealing with them in anything really.

Half your points are also beyond stupid though, so some saying applies here about a pot calling a kettle something? or something along those lines.

I would rather mobility over stronger armor because I could at least avoid getting shot at, with -4kph reverse horeshet there is no other way to play this tank other than in-your-face playstyle

Just saying something is stupid doesn’t actually make it stupid.

Let me clarify this one last time:

  • The Object 292’s core weaknesses still apply—most notably its slow reload speed.
  • Adding ERA would only improve survivability in its non-weakspot areas, and even then primarily against HEAT rounds, which aren’t as commonly used at this BR.
  • This modification is 100 % historically accurate and fully compliant with Gaijin’s own criteria for new additions.
  • The Object 292 is the literal underdog—it’s not part of the meta. The current top-tier meta is dominated by the Type 90 Fuji and Leopard 2A7V. Do you really want those unchallenged?
  • For tech-tree consistency, every T-72 and T-80 variant already has ERA mods—and some base models don’t even have mounting bolts! The Object 292, with its visible mounting points, is arguably more justified in receiving ERA than most.

my dude you said that the T-80B had better KE protection than the 292 (which is false) against rounds like DM43 and M829A1(APFSDS), when I point out that you are wrong you reply with screenshots of their protection against DM12A1 (HEAT-FS).

How is that not beyond stupid?

And why should a 10.7 MBT be a deciding part of the 11.3-12.0 meta? There is a reason why these tanks are a higher BR.

292 cant even see 2A7V naturally?

if you have to compare a 10.7 BR tank to 12.0 BR tank to prove a point, its a bad point.

It’s not. You trade a bit of nominal hull armor for frontal immunity to HEAT rounds—a worthwhile exchange given the current uptier environment.

Firstly, the Object 292 is one of the only MBTs at its BR that can reliably kill those top-tier tanks head-on—no weak-spot gymnastics required.

Secondly, in the missile age, almost every tank destroyer becomes a glass cannon . The Object 292, equipped with ERA, would actually stand out and challenge 11.3–12.0 vehicles—whose main threat in uptiers is ATGMs that can penetrate them frontally.

Object 292 ERA Mockup

In Arcade, the maximum BR spread is ±1.3, not ±1.0. I used the Leopard 2A7V as an example of a highly armored opponent to illustrate the 292’s role.

more i hear about arcade more i dread it.

NO to more USSR/RU science fiction

5 degrees fun depression is worse, every modern russian tank could be moved up at least .3 BR if given 9-10 degrees of depression HATO tanks have.

And for people crying about russian ERA, even if it was made of pure stalanium explosive what the hell are you doing shooting anything but breach or lfp front aspect, I need to run into more of you guys in my matches. Armor at higher tiers just exists to save you from poor shots.

it really isn’t lol. The T-80B kontakt 1 only stops heat-FS and some early non-tandem ATGMS, the fast majority of the missiles at top tier will just slice through the T-80B armor even with the ERA.

So by your logic, we’d buff a already broken tank by giving it a unpenetrable armor and it can stay at a low BR? I’ve seen some dumb Russian mains takes but this is the dumbest one yet.

Also now Leopards are super easy to disable and kill, if you have any problem in killing one then it’s completely your fault.

No, it doesn’t get your point across because you’re leaving out that the turret would be facing the tank shooting at it, thereby rendering the turret cheeks easily pennable. Still being disingenuous, as usual.

DM 53 anti era tip also 100 percent historically accurate yet still not in the game
Brimstone has FnF also 100 percent historically accurate and still not in the game same as above
for balance reasons you know how it goes.

If you think the 292 needs a buff you have a major skill issue, it already has very reliable armor, it could be moved to 11.3 as-is and be perfectly fine.
