Object 120 no longer competitive in current br

The object 120 is vastly out classed buy near every single 8.0 vehicle it’s only got a high pen apfsds going for it but has a terrible reload of 10sec and tarrible damage to.
It has no stab no LRF and bad zoom.

To give an idea of just how bad it is AT 7.7 you have the bardelas with apfsds autoloader and a stab. Then the PzH 2000 an autoloader with a 5sec reload a 155mm and with LRF it’s a better sniper then the object 120 and is a one shot one kill type of vehicle. The plz05 is the same as the pzh 2000 just with a slightly higher reload at 7.5sec 7.7 again

Then the real problem at 8.0 for which the object 120 is this is just a short list of what you have to fight
The m41D has thermo sight LRF and apfsds at 8.0 with max reload of 7.7sec
The ikv at 8.0 gets LRF and 400mm pen heatfs at 8.0
The VIDAR 155mm with a 7.8sec reload thermo sight and LRF at 8.0
And that’s all just at 8.0 it gets much worse the higher you go
At 8.3 you got to fight the t58 or the German m48a2 G a2 gets dm23 and a range finder at 8.3
Or a turm 3 with a 30mm and a 105mm with 5sec autoloader and a stab

The point I’m trying to make the object 120 is just bad at this point it’s dart penetrates a lot but doesn’t do enough damage per shot and with a 10sec reload means if you don’t kill in the first shot you will die especially with every tank at 8.0 haveing a apds or LRF and better reload

To cut to the chase I get that it can’t go down in br but it’s reload can as reload is used as a way to balance a vehicle I ask the community if you would agree to a higher reload of say 5sec
That way when you do no damage you might get the chance to get a follow-up shot

Can you prove it has a reload shorter than what it currently is? Otherwise they won’t change it.

I don’t know if we can find anything on what it’s reload is if I remember correctly they just guessed what the apfsds was and it’s reload

The APFSDS has low damage due to it being a “short rod penetrator”.

You’re supposed to use the HE shells.

Still, it’s inferior to PZH 2009 and vidar.

That thing feels like APDS. You will often experience some ridiculous non-pen moments like APDS’s probability of shell shaterring except it doesn’t shatter but non-penning at angles that other lesser apfsds will have no problem going through. Although its 152mm it feels overall worse than 105mm DM23 in terms of reliability.

It sure is a choice to compare object 120 to kitbashed M113.

The m113 can actually take more damage then the object 120 and Both are glass cannons
