Nuke Spawn Cost Rework

I suggest that nukes should award credit for all vehicles destroyed by the blast. In my view we should assume tank kills scale with range and armor.

  1. This would support earning Heavy Metal Hero. Right now you can miss it by choosing to nuke.
  2. It would feel satisfying to see multiple nuke symbols in the kill feed.
  3. It would add strategy. You could place the nuke near heavy tanks for guaranteed kills.
  4. It would allow new achievements like multi-kill nukes.

My opinion on RP: split the RP based on your pre-nuke Air, Ground, and Helicopter ratio. Example: 200 Air RP and 2000 Ground RP before the nuke, then the nuke earns 1000 RP. You get 91 Air RP and 909 Ground RP.

Team kills do not count.

I WISH I knew how this worked because not being funny, Ive killed more capped more and STILL not got it!! AND YET!!!
Top Player got 1!! Sooooooooooooo how exactly does that work then!!! AND I might add, that player was Top Tier 7.7 so the points awarded shouldn’t have been anywhere near a nuke!!! ITS A FARCE!

And lets keep it rare.

Having more nukes less rare and more common takes away that, “OMG NUKE” feeling, and replaced to ,“Meh, another Nuke, too easy and boring now”…feeling…Sooooo, keep it at 2500, got to play smarter and better to earn it.

I rest my case and point EXACTLY!!!

What matters in spawning nuke is SP, not score

Explain that one then!!!

ASU57 cost 80
ITP M1 - Cost 350
F-32 cost 80

6 SIX caps, along with alllll that damage etc and STILLLLLL no Nuke!!!

I get 2k sp wayyyy too much for this lol like i just got a 2k sp game

What would help You and all here is a screanshoot of how many SPAWN POINTS You have gathered

Based on info I can find.!

ASU57 - 90SP
MTP1 - 653SP
BT7 F32 - 200sp
Total Costs - 943 SP!!!
Total Earnt - 4010 - Not incuding setting fire to M4
LEFT - 3067 SP!

ASU57 4.3 - 7.3 T32 - 300pts
ITP M1 - 4.0 - 7.3 M163 - 300pts
ITP M1 - 4.0 - 7.0 F3D-1 plane - 300pts
BT7 F32 - 4.0 - 6.3 Type 73 SPH - 200pts
BT3 F32 - 4.0 (set Fire to M4A3E2 76)W
6 caps - 360sp per cap!!! = 2160sp
5 assists - 750sp minimum

Action Approx. SP Earned
Enemy ground vehicle kill ≈ 200 – 300 SP (depends on target BR relative to yours)
Assist kill (damage credited) ≈ 150 – 200 SP
Hit but not kill ~10 – 20 SP per damaging hit (small value but stacks)
Being damaged before dying (when someone gets kill credit) ≈ 40 – 50 SP

📌 Note: You only get SP when your hit gets credit toward an enemy vehicle and that vehicle is killed by someone (you or an ally). Simply dying by itself doesn’t grant SP unless a hit was registered.

📍 Objectives

Action Approx. SP Earned
Capturing a point ≈ 300 – 360 SP
Assisting capture (near point / influence) ~150 – 200 SP (varies)

If You couldnt spawn a nuke then You haven’t got enough SP.

Next time please don’t use an AI

buddy if you had that you would be able to get a nuke. Did you take in the fact you died and spawned back in?

You’ve never dropped a nuke, have you? Nukes are already pretty difficult to get with a slim chance of dropping it.

Do you and all you envious specimens want to know why? Because you:

  1. depend on the team. if your team is garbage, you’ll every not be able to get the nuke or not have enough time.
  2. depend on the team. if your team’s SPAA players are garbage, you’ll get swatted like a fly by fighters.
  3. you HAVE to J out and then select the nuke because otherwise you spawn with your fuel tank full. why?
  4. you can’t simply hide behind terrain

Thanks for the third tip bro, i was wondering why it was flying like a brick

Thats my point!!! nothing showed up as I was in a BT7!

IF you looked you would have seen I have thanks lmao

|WRONG!!! Since the updates, the icon shows at the bottom of the screen when you qualify for a nuke! That said - In a non rank 3! it doesnt seem to show up ( I was playing 7.0 before you ask! )

Yep, you have not dropped one. When you spawn the nuke directly, Gaijin in their infinite lack of wisdom … or anything making them a good developer, will spawn you with a plane fully loaded. You NEED to J out and then spawn in a nuke plane.

LOL No. Nothing should allow you to instantly win the match.

And how the hell is it a “thrill” to get nuked? Once you know you lost, it takes longer for you to see the final scoring.

No, 2500 is perfectly fair and the only reason youd think it wasen’t is because you missed a nuke by little

Like earlier today I miss calculated a J out and ended up being 1 point short of a nuke ( J out sp gain being a bit random between 40 and 50), yes I was mad and started wanting nukes to be easier to spawn, but then I cooled down and realized it was completly my fault

Also I think you forget something, the nuke is a win condition, it’s not just a trophy

I would be extremly annoyed if I lost a game because my ally kept feeding sp to a single guy without me even having a chance of interecepting the nuke

2000 is just not hard at all, it’s something you can very easely get

2500 is difficult enough, but not difficult enough to warrent an instant win without any way for the enemy to counter it

Think 2500 is actually a good number where it is tbh, they’re semi-rare, not guaranteed to drop anyway, I’ve only got a handful and it feels like a genuine accomplishment when you do. Be nice if the actual SL / RP reward was higher, but Gaijin being stingy with rewards is nothing new

It would be like Thanos snaps if i could choose to use it or not

I feel I’m a pretty average player most of the time, and i think I’ve got around 12 or 13 nukes that I’ve dropped, and at least 10 where i got shot down or didn’t make it to the drop zone.

Anything where you get an instant win sounds absolutely awful honestly.

2500 points is a good number to spawn the nuke plane. The entire point of it is that its not easy to get, and you need to have a really good match to get it.
