I suggest that nukes should award credit for all vehicles destroyed by the blast. In my view we should assume tank kills scale with range and armor.
This would support earning Heavy Metal Hero. Right now you can miss it by choosing to nuke.
It would feel satisfying to see multiple nuke symbols in the kill feed.
It would add strategy. You could place the nuke near heavy tanks for guaranteed kills.
It would allow new achievements like multi-kill nukes.
My opinion on RP: split the RP based on your pre-nuke Air, Ground, and Helicopter ratio. Example: 200 Air RP and 2000 Ground RP before the nuke, then the nuke earns 1000 RP. You get 91 Air RP and 909 Ground RP.
I WISH I knew how this worked because not being funny, Ive killed more capped more and STILL not got it!! AND YET!!!
Top Player got 1!! Sooooooooooooo how exactly does that work then!!! AND I might add, that player was Top Tier 7.7 so the points awarded shouldn’t have been anywhere near a nuke!!! ITS A FARCE!
Having more nukes less rare and more common takes away that, “OMG NUKE” feeling, and replaced to ,“Meh, another Nuke, too easy and boring now”…feeling…Sooooo, keep it at 2500, got to play smarter and better to earn it.
≈ 200 – 300 SP (depends on target BR relative to yours)
Assist kill (damage credited)
≈ 150 – 200 SP
Hit but not kill
~10 – 20 SP per damaging hit (small value but stacks)
Being damaged before dying (when someone gets kill credit)
≈ 40 – 50 SP
📌 Note: You only get SP when your hit gets credit toward an enemy vehicle and that vehicle is killed by someone (you or an ally). Simply dying by itself doesn’t grant SP unless a hit was registered.
Thats my point!!! nothing showed up as I was in a BT7!
IF you looked you would have seen I have thanks lmao
|WRONG!!! Since the updates, the icon shows at the bottom of the screen when you qualify for a nuke! That said - In a non rank 3! it doesnt seem to show up ( I was playing 7.0 before you ask! )
Yep, you have not dropped one. When you spawn the nuke directly, Gaijin in their infinite lack of wisdom … or anything making them a good developer, will spawn you with a plane fully loaded. You NEED to J out and then spawn in a nuke plane.
No, 2500 is perfectly fair and the only reason youd think it wasen’t is because you missed a nuke by little
Like earlier today I miss calculated a J out and ended up being 1 point short of a nuke ( J out sp gain being a bit random between 40 and 50), yes I was mad and started wanting nukes to be easier to spawn, but then I cooled down and realized it was completly my fault
Also I think you forget something, the nuke is a win condition, it’s not just a trophy
I would be extremly annoyed if I lost a game because my ally kept feeding sp to a single guy without me even having a chance of interecepting the nuke
2000 is just not hard at all, it’s something you can very easely get
2500 is difficult enough, but not difficult enough to warrent an instant win without any way for the enemy to counter it
Think 2500 is actually a good number where it is tbh, they’re semi-rare, not guaranteed to drop anyway, I’ve only got a handful and it feels like a genuine accomplishment when you do. Be nice if the actual SL / RP reward was higher, but Gaijin being stingy with rewards is nothing new
I feel I’m a pretty average player most of the time, and i think I’ve got around 12 or 13 nukes that I’ve dropped, and at least 10 where i got shot down or didn’t make it to the drop zone.
Anything where you get an instant win sounds absolutely awful honestly.
2500 points is a good number to spawn the nuke plane. The entire point of it is that its not easy to get, and you need to have a really good match to get it.
