don’t remind me of that, ive gotten into a few arguments about that “oh the US stuff is so much better” no tf it isn’t, hell i have a friend whos a russian main and we often test the new stuff against each other, and more often then not the russian stuff is better
i mean, if the AIM-9L went active right off the rail instead of waiting 1.5 seconds like it did for a bit after it came to the game, yeah sure, it would be one of the few cases of it
I hope i can get at least 1 of the 2 bomber, i like to collect this type of event vehicle, even if the only that I have are the ww1
stuff like this is just nice to have as well to check the gaijin store just to see how much more your account is worth
in fact 1 of the reason i want that 2 bomber is for their future value :)
one thing i kinda regret doing is breaking down and buying the M60 AMBT, ive used that thing twice because i forgot how bad the overall gameplay at that teir is

yeah, most people only really see one side of it depending on what they play, regarding the R-60Ms and the AIM-9L, there are always trade offs of playing one nation over the other, although the R-60s turn faster off the rail they go after other sources of heat easier and have less range(?)
its something most players either don’t know in general or just refuse to acknowledge
can someone tell me how to change the radar from that angle parabola into the square or if someone have a video or smth like tht
One suggestion i havent seen being made is to have it so that once an airfield is destroyed (make it harder to destroy AFs) the frontline moves closer, ie. the fight moves closer. Once an AF is destroyed it will become captured AI and players will spawn in the now “captured” airfield and therefore bring the fight closer, the AF can be recaptured again etc…
IDK why no one thought of it but this is what a dynamic battlefield would look like that will not be stale and wont have ppl fly for 10min without doing anything. Simple solutions guys dont over-complicate it. The team behind this project needs some inspiration…

its in the settings, i think options, aircraft settings, use rectangular radar
yeah i know but my the fact the Mig23 has working radar and 2 other missiles which are literally 1 shot 1 kill if used in 2KM range
“its just 2 missiles” yeah you meant probably “Its just 2 kills” and since you can simply use the R60 to force dogfight and making gun runs on them its fair to say the Mig23 its FAAAAAR easier than the F4E

the aspect, it will also (at least for me) make it easier to read
the thing that the radar indicators lack (at least for modern radars) is an altitude indicator like with the F/A-18 radar if you look at it in the cockpit it will also show the altitude of the aircraft so you know where it is compared to yours when you hover the curser over it, i mean yes it gives you the green box but thats only really says how much up or down they are
