Mig-23 is arguably better, but the F-4J/S clowns on it. However the F-4E is better than the Su-24.

if they gave us just the base f4e and then added the 9ls later no one would say its abysmal
Better missile is debatable.
Aim-9Ls are better than R-60s.
And R-24s are only better at lower alt over Aim-7’s

The upgraded F-4E would get absolutely slapped in this mode. The free F-4E is still outclassed by the 23MLD.

I mean the 9ls are fine but there is no reason to bring the 7e2 bc no one is flying high enough to even justify a launch and in a dogfighter just straight up gets dog walked but the j&s do walk the mig23

R-60M’s pull way harder off the rail. and they have the same flare resistance after the IRCCM nerf. I’d count them as side grades as the 9L’s has more range but the R-60M works better close range. the 24 is a significant upgrade over the 7M and it has a PD’ish radar to back it up.
AIM-9L equally flare hunger with R60 rn. In which way do you think aim9L is superior?
I feel like most people giving feedback do not understand that the entire point of the gamemode is that the sams are hard and therefore can have good rewards.
yall are asking them to make the sams like day one, where they were so useless both teams fought directly over each others airfields.
which sure, the sams are over done and gaijin understands that, the last like 3 patches have been spaa nerfs
But there is zero reason to complain that the rewards for pve and pvp are now roughly equal. it is just people who wanted to air rb over the event to get the bombers crying they have to actually play the event now. (also hilarious yall are posting polls of less than 40 people and calling it what the majority wants)
The score changes fixed the core issue, they just need to remove the bandaid fix of the sams, which they are actively doing.
SAM’s on the first day still slapped everyone. they still slap everyone. they never nerfed them. They have only nerfed players.

if usa teams would use their brains and hit the long range sams they would be able to use their much better radars.
they gave them limited ammo and a 20 second cool down,
they just made it so the convoy sams don’t re-arm
I think they did some tweaking on the back end, osas are now firing at about 7-9km instead of 11-13km or whatever it was a couple days ago
and I think they actually somewhat fixed the firing through the ground issue because the buk is no longer killing me through mountians. (as often)
Ohhh… if you want that look at all of the 9" bugs reported but i know you won’t so why give you it.
