The br gap isn’t really fair, given the B-52 has the biggest bomb load in the games history, literally being able to flatten a whole airfield in sim, in one pass, while being faster than the TU-95M…
So yeah, either they need to give the TU-95M a small nuclear warhead to compensate in bringing up the base damage, or nerf the B-52 some way.
The B-52 has well over 2x the amount of damage.
the BUKs themselves were within 30km i think, there was nothing else being picked up so don’t think it was getting overwhelmed
just completely silence
Then it just sounds like this gamemode being the buggy mess that it is
The b 52 is already gimped they should have added the b-52d for all bombs and then the H and they should also add the tu95 MS-6 for the USSR
Once I had the 5kt Nuke, I began focusing on SAM sites. Bombed the first OSAs and then went for the BUK nest behind it before going for the airfield. Worked out well and relieved A LOT of pressure on my team.

As I just said it should have been the B52d or a pre big-belly b52 for this event paired with the normal tu95m
Plus for bombers of this size none of that really even matters with no ECM they’re going to be fighter food regardless of bomb load

Anybody else has this nice bug that if a gun SPAA or IFV fires at you, the visuals (bullets and turret) point and fly into a completely different direction while your plane suddenly gets hit and breaks apart because those bullets, flying 90° away from you, hit you?
Also OSAs and Rolands still fire and guide multiple missiles (at different targets) at the same time sometimes for whatever reason…
I have 0 interest in the B-52, so this is an unbiased opinion. If it was a Vulcan, that might be a different story
There is only really 2 choices.
- reduce the B-52s bomb load
or
- increase the B-52s BR.
and neither is tbh fair.
In the context of ARB, it’ll be lucky if it gets 1 base kill, let alone the oppotunity to use all those bombs, and is already mitigated by both the diminishing returns mechanic and just the impact in FM (Though FM performance is less relevant for something like the B-52)
and yes, in ASB, I can see these being quite effective if they get through. But i imagine it will be fairly tough to always get through to actually unleash this bomb load. Increasing its BR is only going to make that way, way harder.
Artificial nerfs to loadout suck. Having the B-52 end up with a similar bomb load to the F-111A because “balance” would be kind dumb". Pretty much the only reason I can think to even touch it in an Air mode is just to mess about with the massive bomb load
