does nothing for those of us who arent US or USSR mains
AA is still insanely annoying to deal with, you need to fire 2 ARHs PER AA, the max one plane can carry is FOUR, thats TWO AAs per life and when you FINALLY get close enough to ground strike you cant even use your walleyes or GBU8s because they land ontop of the tanks and deal ZERO damage

the game mode in its current form is the worst aspect of heli PVP and PVE combined into one genuinely awful mode

Any hint how to use walleyes? Often the seeker locks empty ground…how can I reset this for a new attempt to lock something?

This one. Clicking it will lock AND unlock so you can try again. It will NOT drop/fire. Still need your main drop/fire keybind(s).
Lock guided bombs, keep pressing it until you get the smaller square that indicates youre locked on, though doing that often makes the bomb lock fully onto the target which results in the bomb landing ON TOP of the tank which blows up to do no damage, just use the A 10s mavericks

Are walleyes also intercepted like AGM 65?
Somewhere inside me I like to think that they would change it if they knew a lot of people didn’t like how the event was in regards to SPAA. They did remove the IRIAF and split the BRs.
But on the other hand, they probably dont give a fluck about player sentiment and only look at # online & their wallet.
The Walleyes only lock ground targets from really close (like sub 2 miles). Unless you’re attacking a convoy, locking onto the ground next to the target will be fine.
There is a button in controls to lock (and unlock) A2G weapons.
They are, but if you get the OSA locked onto you before dropping then they can usually hit before the OSA missile self destructs.
you have to be alot closer to the target to really use walleyes, so they SHOULDNT be

in lower bracket USSR dominates if the US dont have players with F4S so lowk,its one USSR sided if no no one uses personal planes btw

Spawn in a strike aircraft with 4 ARMs
Get inside the 10-11km bubble of AI SPAAs in order to lock them
You get two kills as other two missiles are intercepted
Now you have to dodge half a dozen missiles coming your way in a flying boat
Get 140 score
Looks fun.

I don’t thinks so. But not 100% sure. I rarely used bombs. I just never saw this in my killfeeds.
Nuclear bombs won’t be attacked by AA. Maybe conventional bombs as well?
