This event should have had the F-4J as the ‘free’ plane with the F-111 as the tactical bomber.
I think F-4E is just inherently boring. Having an F-4J (and a similar better plane on soviet side) with PD radar would make for a whole lot more interesting gameplay.
I think it might have been better if gaijin only allowed select planes and banned radar missiles. Only guns, heaters, and CAS options. I really wanna go for AA and ground targets more but the clutter of enemy jets w radar missiles and SPAA’s make it just unfun (especially on the US side which is where im having the most trouble without any of my own jets i can bring)
I would also have loved to see naval targets to shoot at and aircraft carriers to takeoff from.
Yep, it is cuz you need 5 marks for each and there are 6 available per plane in total, so you could skip 1 and still get it
If theyre gonna allow bringing your own planes they should lowkey just have removed the country limits. I really wish i could bring some of my Japanese planes for NATO side… and Chinese jets for BRICS
I think if we just had guns and if the spaa was a gun only spaa like gepards, it would be a much mor enjoyable event

I would post more clips, I was planning on showing you 4 clips in 1 life of me taking out Osas just fine, but my game crashed and I can’t be bothered to start a new one just to prove a point.
P.S: For those who think killing Osas is impossible, you now have 2 clips showing you how to do it. Kill the GBAD like that, then J out, come back in whatever strike aircraft you have, clear the positions and/or convoys, by that point you already have a nuke if you wanna use it. Its even easier on the RU side since the Su-25TM can run 2x Kh-25MPU (so 2 FlaRak kills) and 16x Vikhr for all the other ground attack victims you’ve created after destroying their AA.

Leavee it to gaijin to gaijin a game mode …the changes made to day just made it unplayable and it also just ruined other modes like simulator…
First of Nuke spawn points have been increased while getting score has been reduced while doing air to air.Some genius thought that was a good idea…11 kills 7 deaths (OSA) barely gets you 600 points to be able to get the nuke capable of taking out an airfield…if you destroy the airfield and the ai on it you get 600 points if you die that all you have…if you die on the way there you have to do air to air again, which has been nerfed take a long time to get 600 points( i pity all those poor level 2-30)…i have played 2 games which ihad to wait like 30 mins to get into(games last so much longer and aren’t rewarding) and no team was able to get the tu95 or the b52… you have to destroy all the airfiled with the 600 sp nuke and like 5 runs on the main airfield to win the game…
Second if you play Blue(America) you die more to OSAs than actual players, how are red players(Soviets) meant to get enough spawn points to get the nukes to do the ground pounding that was desparately needed(esp mig 23mlds)
Third Missile counter missile(IRON DOIMING).The AAA on one side can take out HARMS AIM 7s and AIM 9Ls…while the rolands just struggle even to kill the planes.Also on the matter of missile vs missile you can lock a guy say with a r73 or aim 9m present it with a clear heat course rear aspect/ front aspect (aim 9l and r60m included)…and the missile goes for a missile that has been launched to another target or one incoming even if the plane locked is not even flaring…also noticed to tends to work even against AIM 7S…WHERE THEY WILL IGNORE THE PLANE AND GO FOR THE MISSILE…

The “AI” that is controlling the SPAA’s is not displayed/known. It is almost certainly being controlled server side, we will have no way of knowing exactly how/what/why.
It is quite obvious that this is all happening server side when you can watch multiple videos of SPAA’s tracking, locking, and firing on players who are well behind hills, not only out of radar LOS, but even the “SACLOS” LOS. They are using player server positions, not a player’s actual “physical” positions for their tracking/locking/firing control.

I agree. But your failure to see or “accept” the hordes of reports from 99.999999% of other players that SOMETHING changed with the SPAA’s today is what is causing me a great deal of frustration with your otherwise very well thought out posts.
Even better when the fucking heat seekers just ignore the target you locked on and zoom in the nearest friendly that just so happend to be in less than a 2km radius of it

Just moved above my friendly units about 1000-2000m in height and everyone and everything trying to intercept got irondomed to shit
