I have a question, when you go near Mach 1.10 on Mig-23, it says to slow down, does it rip the plane or don’t?
I believe it doesn’t appear when you’re at a lower altitude than the set point.
don’t go over Mach 1.2 then your fine (10-500M)

Just set throttle to like 102% it should wing rip around 1.18 iirc

I just kill things with the F-4S still I get the 30kt, and I start knocking out spaa sites like a kind gentleman, unlike those savages whom go straight for runways to instantly end the game.
F4E Vs MLD is not balanced though. Having to defend against R-24Rs when all you have is 9Ls is just stupid balance

Maybe it is time for GJ to add real SEAD-planes like the F-4G and on russian side the Mig-27K wich could carry ECM-Pods. I think, this would help a lot with SEAD flights

And having Aim-9Ls I would say does make it balanced
Eh, not really ACM MTI really doesn’t work when flying at tree top height but if you fly slightly above maybe like 200m or so you’re gonna get hit by a 24R.
Gonna be real I’d still take a F4E just for flight performance and gun over the Mig-23 but that’s because going fast works better for head on fights.
I think I’ve died more often to a rear aspect or side aspect R24T then a R24R but I digress.
What is even the difference between Js and Ls? They both pretty much get flared easily
All aspect and G pull also burn time which means more range.
Js are rear aspect, and harder to flare.
All aspects. That’s about it. 9Ls are 1 flare defeat most of the time. Especially Vs the MLDs LCMs. Only way you die to a 9L is by failing to flare
Not really. The F-4E doesn’t see a jumbo jet in low altitude, so it would just flying blind while russian players will rush in with their Yak-141, R-27 and R-73s while US sides best missile is Aim-9L and the PD Phantoms doesn’t even have any All Aspect IRs.

Shooting Ls is 90% of the time a waste, only viable when enemy is oblivious
One time I had success with it when I shot it <1KM from the enemy, the missile actually hit him as we merged and he couldn’t flare it
