No, not really. I’ve been playing this game for 11 years so i’m not new. Until this map came i had no issues with trees.

Just a PSA not to waste boosters on the event,
Gaijin have labelled it “Not a bug” for the game to ignore the explicit setting of not joining a game in progress. I’ve spoken to multiple people now who when activating boosters are being put into matches that are nearly over. So just a PSA so you don’t waste them!

because in that map ground forces are in a bowl and planes are outside of the bowl so they can’t be seen unless they fly high in line-of-sight

It wouldn’t. TV is line of sight/contrast seeking. ECM only affects radar and/or radar missiles.

I dont know man. I had a f4s stall climb then hit me with an aim7f. and yes, i was also chaffing.
Sounds like a deadzone to me (yes, those exist), although I don’t know if Gaijin modelled it that far beyond just a radar jamming bubble.
I know for a fact attempts to try and lock in a head on almost never works or isn’t stable enough to maintain a SARH missile lock. I haven’t tried in a chase or directly under/above a bomber (although this is mostly because the opportunity never presented itself).
I would like it so much better if they would just remove the makeshift ECM from the strat bombers and instead make it a mandatory objective (with according rewards) to destroy mid- and long-range AA (BUK, S300 and HAWK, Patriot) before you can spawn in strat bombers. So SEAD+DEAD as a mandatory playstyle for bombers to enter the field.

Still doesn’t solve the issue of said bombers becoming completely defenceless in an AO where everyone else has missiles.
IF something like the B-2 was in the game, sure, let stealth do all the heavy lifting in terms of defence, but these are Cold War-era, slightly modified strategic bombers lol. They can’t defend themselves and would ideally rely on escorts IRL for that.

i rarely, if ever, i got that map in rotation. I think i have a minimum of 5 matches on it at most.
Ok, I just entered another match at the very end. Please stop this from happening Gaijin. It is unbelievably frustrating.
