bvvd said this earlier and I can speak it from my own experience - the bots use overperforming flight models which can easily become problematic on this scale. I remember having an F-5E chase me down to mach 1.8 at 4km altitude in my typhoon. If this were fixed then bots would be justified.

Oh, but I don’t care about those small issues, I want to solve my own problem of not finding matches on the American side so I can complete the event. I’m not going to spend 20% of my country’s salary just to buy event stars. that’s not sustainable.
My main concern with this event specifically is that the most effective tactic available seems to be to kill as many aircraft as possible and spawn in a b52 to drop a nuke. this has led the vast majority of players in my matches to spawn in fighters and ignore the objectives, leaving almost no one to do air to ground. Will there be updates to make air to ground more essential to the outcome of a match? Personally I’m of the opinion that the playerbase is so stuck in its air rb mentality that the only way to prevent this gamemode from being another air quake is to make ticket loss from killing other planes almost negligable, otherwise it feels like everyone is just going to treat it as an air rb match and rush the middle. leaving anyone doing cas or sead completely undefended.
Retraction: don’t change the ticket loss, change the rewards. player behavior is ultimately driven by what gets them the most score. when doing essential air to ground tasks goes completely unrewarded, no one does them. harms that get shot down should be rewarded with points because they are saturating the air defenses and allowing your team to push in. assisting in the capture or destruction of a base, depot, or convoy should be rewarded for more than just the individual targets you destroy. destroying an s300 site should be significantly rewarded because its both a very difficult task to accomplish and also contributes massively to your team’s air superiority.
The devs should be able to limit BR in events —>

11.3 vs 11.3.
It’s basic balancing when one side becomes strong enough in an event that players refuse to play a certain nation because it’s so inferior that it takes hours and hours just to grind a measly 7,500 points per star.

not to mention the most important thing to do in the event : destroy the 3 ground based radar to blind the long range AA (S300 / PATRIOT) , so the big bomber isn’t killed by it before droping …
i did that , in a game , earned 98 mission score … while it gave my team the complete suppremacy on high altitude , and we crushed the US team , and it was at high BR …

Yup! that’s what I’ve been doing cuz I care more about actually enjoying the game mode than getting the score. having such an essential job to winning a match go completely unrewarded is a fundemental flaw with the game’s reward system that really needs to be addressed

I thnk it was a good balance since the F-4E got AIM-9Ls and F-4J with 4 sparrow and the better ACM would be much stronger than the mig23

that’s what I’m saying it’s not entirely the players fault, people will do whatever’s most effective to get the thing they want, be it mission score or the big bomber. tasks that are essential to winning need to be actually rewarded. shooting a harm that gets shot down needs to give you points for distracting the site. taking out an s300 or patriot sight needs to get a special reward because of how much of an advantage it gives your team. assisting in the capture or destruction of a base needs to give you score. and so on. I was being a little harsh on the players cuz it’s frustrating to try to play the objective, but the game’s reward system is at odds with the goal of the gameplay dynamics, cuz the game just rewards getting air kills so much heavily more than anything else.
My only issue with this mode is, that we only have 2 fixed spawns for the nuclear bombers and the enemy just camp those spawns until something spawns. Making it impossible to bomb the base.
Maybe dynamic spawns would make more sense. So it’s less predictable.

Please ban the MiG-29’s next. Their slaughtering the entire match to the point no one can do anything but feed them with their R-27, R-27ER, and R-27ET missiles. Their literally pulling hard 360s and ignoring countermeasures.
What’s the actual chance of getting an escort through the incredibly dense SAM net and fighters though? If you fly high you’ll eat a sparrow or 27ER
