It’s not just replays from the event. Matches that last over 30 minutes have this issue. The cutoff time is random as far as I can tell but are anywhere from 15 minutes - 50 minutes in. This issue has been present for ages but has become more noticeable because of the event.
I didnt have problem with F-14B at all (its was much easier target than FA-18 which multipath all the time). Today I shot down three of them by Yak-141 while I lost only one by F-14B because I had little bit problem holding low altitude while I do sharp turns (I will improve it :D). Its pretty easy to shot down them by R-27ER with HMS. They standardly fly high so no multipath. Just lock them with HMS, launch missile and hug earth while radar guide missile to F-14B. Radar on Yak-141 have pretty big vertical angle so no problem at all.
is there a possibility for other nations to be added in the future? it seems every time we get a test it seems to be america vs russia which is fine for a while but adding some european nations to it would be nice variety (yes im begging for the vulcan)
The loadouts are definitely unfair. the fact the er is better at range and pulls a few G more doesn’t affect the gameplay at all still facing much better loadouts
If you can remember the date and time you can wait for the server replays to be accessible and stream it to your client. It will take you ages to view it because of how they work but it’s manageable.
It’s their first ever gamemode like it they had to start somewhere. I’m sure later down the line things will improve like loadouts and specific aircraft.
Also are you guys planning on using the massive airfields in any other modes? Would be nice to see them outside of the mode in air battles for RB and Sim or even as the test flight airfield.
Or even make them usable in the CDK so people can add them to custom missions? (If the CDK is ever updated as it currently does not work at all)

I haven’t shared many thoughts about this event because I’m primarily a ground player, so air matters aren’t really my thing.
However, it is endearing to see such work and effort put into such a warmly welcome and carefully crafted gamemode! It was clearly a success within the air community.
I therefore would like to ask; can you share whether there may be any plans for similarly new/reworked modes for Ground players?

The MiG-25 can’t even kill the bombers without ramming (assuming the bomber knows how to use countermeasures). The MiG-23 does the job of intercepting 1000x times better
Also people aren’t camping the airspawn for an hour lol, they can see if/which player is going to have a nuke soon based on their experience, ground kills and bombing and then get their interceptor up.
Also based on my experience, there will be someone trying to intercept you when using a nuke only around 1/4th of the time. If someone tries it’s best to be aware, use countermeasures appropriately, your gunners if you have them, maneuver so they can’t gun you down; or at best: use teamwork, multiple bombers at the same time makes it really hard for the enemies to intercept.
Not to mention that just getting the bomber and bombing the airfield without a little action would be boring anyways.
