So i climbed and after a while of cruising in 5km the S-300 swatted me out of the sky in my F-4S
yeah and I am not saying that it’s op, just saying that the amount of missiles the planes on the us side has is more than on the ussr side (at least for fox 1/3)
What else can players even do? If they fly too high they get touched by S-300 or patriot or BUK
There is just not much depth to the experience; it’s just ARB with some extra steps. Strike aircraft have no purpose, and ARMs are pretty useless because of the OP AI. It needs tuning.
I said MiG-23, my team only had MiG-23s, yes, it’s a skill problem that a MiG-23 can’t handle a hail of F-15s, go pick coconuts. The problem with skill is that the USA mains have it; I still won the match, but I carried it alone.

Your forgot to Tu160 and B1 Lancer Gaijin… it’s will be peak fly high and fast to bomb enemy main airfield
The concept of ground striking is fun, but it’s mostly the stupidly overpowered SACLOS AA that ruins it.
However I doubt that will change, since it would require Gaijin to rework how their computer targets work. Which I assume isn’t a quick and easy thing.

And F117 doesnt immune from Buk or s300 anyway
You spawn = waste SL
Or you launch 6 65Ds onto a group of ground vehicles and the enemy AA just shoots all of them down without a sweat.
It is beyond stupid, but it’s still a fun gamemode.

I wasn’t even playing War Thunder anymore because it was so bad; I was playing a maximum of 30 battles per week. If Gaijin keeps this mode permanently (I doubt it), I would go back to playing. The only thing I wanted was a map with an extra 100km for aircraft with Fox 3s.
