I’ve had okay luck with USSR ARM against Rolands and Gepards.
Same with TV KAB-500s launched at or below 10km.
Are you shooting at a large cluster of AAs by any chance ?
They are all in clusters of like 3.
All they have to do is ban aircraft outside the lineups, or at the very least limit what weapons they can use.
MiG-23MLD v F-14B/F-14A IRIAF is just an even worse variation of a time that sucked in WT, and I’d rather not regress to 2023 top tier “balance”

Amazing event. I have one gripe only.
Why restrict it to USSR vs USA? Why not allow all nations to join in?
Leave the standard loadout for USSR/USA as it is (for people who dont have top tier jets) and allow the other nations to bring their own airplanes.
Is it THAT hard???

Dunno, shooting at HAWKs is a pain at any normal distance but other AAs seem pretty doable even in a shitbox called Su-25T.
USSR is practically unplayable because of them lol

As someone who hasn’t grinded out the USSR or US Trees, the event vehicle options are pretty meh for the USA.
The F-4E doesn’t get PD radar so I cannot lock any of the low flying Mig-23MLDs who CAN however lock their R-24Rs on me. Pretty much nobody is flying high in this event, so not being able to use my Sparrows is a big L.
No customisation of loadouts for the planes means that if I wanna use bombs for the F-4E I have to sacrifice my IR missiles.
If I could bring my British planes I’d have a nice Tornado to chuck at them.

How is war thunder 13 years old and they still havent figured out you need more than one server. I couldnt back out of a match because its bugged and now i cant relog

If you’re not in a bomber I don’t see the issue. They’re wasting a bomber missile on you instead of the objective and they’re really easy to dodge.
