5kt takes 3/4 to destroy a base,30kt takes one, the main base in the rear takes alot of 30kt or just the one from TU-95/B52H

5kt nuke clears out enemy SPAA like a charm.
Spawn in, swap to bomb.
Click map with SPAA
Take off.
Afterburner towards SPAA.
Toggle automatic release
At about 20km, hold down secondary weapon release button.
Pull UP in a parabolic arc-ish.
Once nuke releases, dive down to deck,
RTB
Land
Rearm
Repeat.
SPAA = irrelevant.
and someone know how many point you get by destroying a base?
Some feedback after getting the first task for both nations:
USA: The given planes feel like they lack compared to the USSR ones, suggestion:
A-10A - A10C: It’s roughly comparable to the SU-25T that the Russians get with Air to Air capability and air to ground loadout
A-7 - F-111C: This would give a faster dedicated ground strike option with a larger nuclear option. More survivable but less multi-role than the F-4. This feels needed as the Russian air defense feels more capable than the US currently.
Russia: Allow the Su-27 and Su-33. The air to air component feels lackluster for Russia compared to the US.
Overall, the balance feels close, I’m about 50% win rate for both sides.
This is also the most fun I’ve had in a while!
How do I get a nuke if i cant kill? (Genuinely a first 5 minute problem)

I just fly head-on towards enemy fighters with all-aspect IR and fish for kills in the middle with MIG-23MLD or the phantom.
Might take a few respawns, but it’s self sustaining afterwards unless you’re unlucky and someone shoots you down after getting the nuke.
Nah i get it. I’m speculating, based on previous 1st apr events, when Snail was testing mechanics (or literally T-90 vs Abrams, yes. Rank 10, I remember, hehe)
So far, we saw:
- Dynamic loadouts - limitation, based on game situation (Escalation timer)
- ECM (I wasn’t on the receiving end of it, so can’t say much)
- Mega map (Will be added to the game, just like Atomic Thunder map)
- Ground force “director” - have you noticed, that ground units are actually doing something, not just static for bombing
- ARMs
We might see an ASB rework, based on this event too.

The Su-25SM3 is already banned
Now Russia have the Tu-95 and America have the B-52, Britain should have have the Vulcan, and other nations should get their own bombers too!
Which makes no sense given the A-10C is allowed.
I don’t get how so many people are calling this mode great. Conceptually it is pretty good, but goddamn is the execution for this event terrible.
People were complaining about Air RB being too much TDM and this is somehow better? Just mindlessly respawning over and over again to fly at each other in the center of the map?
Well, Ground AA essentially keeps you from dogfighting anywhere, but the center of the map, due to them being overtuned af. It all boils down to missile spam and die, repeat - because who cares about reserving your resources when you can respawn 10 seconds after dying?
To top it all of, anyone who doesn’t have vehicles at BR 13 for these nations gets shafted so hard it’s genuinely impressive they somehow thought this was ok to release as it is. Absolute banger of an April Fools event.
At least last year everyone received the same vehicles to play their grind mode, but not this time.
Next year we’ll have to buy a premium pass to even access the event.
this happens basically every time theres a ground event but in reverse with everyone queing USSR, its been like that for years.
the moment its the inverse and everyone wants to play US its a issue.
And Kh-38T wouldn’t be as dangerous, because of angry Rolands
I can contest to that, just wish we had proper lofting mechanics (I.e it told you when to pull up and by how much)
