Nuclear Thunder!

1 roland and its over

I have no problems fighting the mig29 in my f16ADF just when I play Russia it seems more kinda hard in my mig29 when there’s so many f-15

Probably the kind of guy like that MiG-23 who flies well at altitude; unsurprisingly, he died two seconds later.

The game mode is fantastic, but I have some feedback to improve it.

My number 1. complaint is the interception rates for the short range SAMs (Rolands and Osa) are WAY too high, it is almost 100%. These SPAAs have lower power mechanical radars, they should not be able to instantaneously detect munitions, it should take time. Once munitions are detected, there still should not be a 100% interception rate, for these systems it should be low, 50% or less. HAWK and BUK should have much higher interception rates, but still not 100%, maybe 60-75%. Patriot and S-300 should be much harder to defeat, 80-90% interception rate. Currently, these Rolands and Osas stop every missile fired at them until they are oversaturated. This also affects the balance of the game mode, non-nuclear warheads are a pretty inefficient way of grinding this mode when it takes 4-5 AGM65 Mavericks (out of a total of six) to destroy a single Osa when there are SEVERAL more of them either in the same convoy, or in the same area to continue to deny you use of non-standoff munitions.
2. The SPAAs radars seem to be turned off a lot of the time. While this somewhat realistic, what is not realistic is the SPAAs automatically knowing where I am with their radars turned off. This basically makes the new ARMs pretty useless.
3. Destroying high value SAMs and radars does not offer a high enough award. Having only 2 ARMs with a pretty low chance of either of them hitting a high value target, just to get the typical score offered by regular ground units when the target is destroyed makes it pretty discouraging to use any type of munitions other than just dropping tactical nukes on everything.
4. The SEAD loadouts need more variety. Since these munitions are not in the base game, the SEAD loadouts cannot be customized. Carrying two ARMs with no additional munitions such as bombs is pretty counterproductive. These loadouts would benefit utilization of the rest of the aircraft’s hardpoints to cleanup ground targets once SAMs are destroyed.

What’s the music that plays btw?

it doesnt seem like standard jet music.

Fly low and you have 0 problem

What would be the consequence?

buddy i’m literally flying at 15m and they can still track me and shoot me down. What,do i need to fly under the Earth?

Missed opportunity to add the Vulcan Bomber from the Moments of Valor: Brasil trailer at 1:39.

The Vulcan would have been an amazing addition, and the model seemingly already exists, so its a shame we didn’t get it in this event.

hard !!!

Osa are the only thing that is killing me so i’m pretty sure those are SACLOS missiles guided by radar, radar and IR missiles are another thing

i can guarantee you that the Osa tracks me at 15m

Ohk, i though you were dying to a plane, My bad.

Maybe I’m just lucky every time and the OSA tracks another player, it’s possible

Flew to the corners of the earth to nuke one man…

(Turn resolution up if YT plays in potato)

Its technically NATO va Russia

Throw a nuke at them from 20km out with CCRP.

Possibly farther.

CCRP on the phantom/mig-23MLD with 5kt nuke is so good.
